You want to know how this guild really got started?
Because i got bored from studying for my final exams.
That's right. Instead of trying to get an A on the final, i was on Gaia. rofl
When the Sig Lab/Avatar Exporter was announced on Monday afternoon, i thought, "******** it, i might as well see what it is." So i tinker with the stuff, find myself disinterested, and am about to close the window when i notice the binary.
My first thought was "why the hell is there binary on this? i think it might be gibberish."
So, i translate the only part whose characters are all in the proper byte format (8 binary digits in a row). The first run-through on a translator gave me "xlves"
i didn't realize i had to break apart the ENTIRE line and translate it bit by bit.
Yes, i was that bored. xd
And then it hit me. When i translated it byte for byte, i got

The moment I noticed the G CORP logo on the new feature I got excited.
Then as soon as I found the binary I opened my binary translater that
I had used durring the Zurg plot arch and translated it asap.

I had used durring the Zurg plot arch and translated it asap.
xD
I hope they do things like the Zurg plot arch more often! surprised It was like a quest all around Gaia to figure out those passwords! They obfuscated everything! (in a good way!)

So how do you think you did / will do on your finals?
The Admins and Mods seem to have taken a liking to binary lately (what with this and the April Fool's Day stuff). Who knows, maybe they'll reveal more secrets through 1s and 0s soon.

ExConDerekLiu So how do you think you did / will do on your finals? The Admins and Mods seem to have taken a liking to binary lately (what with this and the April Fool's Day stuff). Who knows, maybe they'll reveal more secrets through 1s and 0s soon. The exams i'm worried about are Music Lit Jazz Styles US History post 1865 and i can't get the grades yet. Will edit this post when i can get them.

I only got the stuff cause my friend sent me a pm with it and the passwords and other such things XD I wasn't on very often durring that time.

I got excited when I saw the sig lab, figuring they would bring G-Corp back. I did not check the bianary... to be honest I have never had to decode it. I always had people who would do it for me. And I always knew X lived.

Random fluke or not, it was a good catch. Though, exams are a good reason if anything to blame on a spacing brain.
And yet, for some reason this whole... *gestures widely* Thing, like theories, ideas and schemes is just so refreshing. We've been lacking this for so long, not because of the admins and such, but our GCD in general just has been... not story happy lately. Even if nothing ever comes from this work we all have done, it's still fantastic.

But of course not! Until we have solid proof, how could anyone give up the search? I mean, look what happened to Gambino, when people thought he was dead. O.o; .... thank Gaia for never having a shortage of plot lines!
