So, I'm thinking of going out and buying a DDR game. Only I've never played them before. The first and only time I've played was at Amy's house and I sucked.
So, which one is better to you guys?
Which should I buy?

Personaly I'm not a big fan of DDR because it is a repeeting game that never really changes. But it is good for parties, I'll give it that.

but anyways, if you are looking for the best DDR game, I say it's a tie between... oh god.... It's Extreem 2 and... I think the other one is Extreem 1, I'm not sure on Extreem 1 though (( if it's the version of the game I am thinking of )). All I remember is that it has a song called "Kick the can" on it and a few other really good party-favorates. (( like jet world and 321 stars))

For future reference, there is no need to bump your topic excessively when there are not replies. All it takes is a bit of patience.

Personally, I like DDR Max 1, because it has some good J-pop on it for dancing.
I find that the songs Extreme are only so-so.

I like DDR Max2... I have Supernova as well, there are some good songs, but compared to the others it's not as good.

I find that Max 2 is good for learning but the new Supernova may have a beginner mode too. I can't wait to get it. Next pay check. whee

I would suggest DDR Extreme 2 since it has easiest way of getting the songs out even though Supernova has really really good songs but it has a badly way to get out the songs, if you are thinking a DDR for 360 then I would suggest you universe ^^;

Since you are new to DDR mostly, I suggest you start with the older games to just get used to the feel of it. Then when you think you are ready and have the money, you can buy DDR Extreme 2 or Supernova. I personally love Supernova.

I have DDR Extreme 2, and I like it, so maybe try that one?

DDR Extreme 2 is the favorite in my group of friends. I like it a lot myself!

I'd also recommend starting with the older games, mostly because they're cheaper and you get practice. Also, practice makes perfect; you don't need to be uber-coordinated, you just have to practice. I played it for the excercise and now I'm getting A's on standard regularly. We loves the DDR smile

Ugh, I can't remember which was the DDR game I started with some years ago, but I remember it was a PSX game which featured the song "Kung-Fu Fighting". I always sucked at that game: it took me an entire month to get my first A in a 3-foot song! I fail at these games. emo
