Do you people think that the Final Fantasy games are overrated, underrated, properly rated, or you cou care less?

I've tried to play one of them. X I think. And couldn't finish it out of boredom. So I don't see the big deal. But a lot of people like them, so oh well.

GuardianAmy x is my favorite! How can you not like Tidus?? It is impossible! I hated X and Tidus is the most annoying main character ever. Yuna is also the most annoying love interest ever (and she talks like William Shatner). talk2hand Yes, I really do feel that way. stare IV is my favorite with IX and Tactics tied for a close second. I've played all of them except for III, X-2 (which doesn't even deserve to be called Final Fantasy) and XII. Oh, and Tactics Advance because it's stupid and also doesn't deserve it's name. So basically, the old ones are under-rated, the new ones are WAY over-rated, and since I'm sure you really don't want to hear me go on a big rant, I'll leave it at that. xp

personally i tink they are over rated because the only time i ever played one it was a turned based one and i hate turn based games.

Personally though, a bit of turn based mixed with realtime, is what makes a good game.

Personally though, a bit of turn based mixed with realtime, is what makes a good game. well don't get me wrong there are some good turn based games. the orgianal warlords games, the advanced wars games. they have to be turn based stratagy games. i just don't think that turn based fighting gamesd work out very well

Well.. to tell the truth, I'm a fan of FF games, but I focus mainly in the music and the story. I've yet to finish one of them xd And I've played all the ones I could. My favourite one is VIII - That game needs love, needs lots of love! The poor thing was hidden by VII and IX. Squall is love.
I've recently adquired XII, and... I can't play it XD The battle system is a little too difficult for me, and some enemies shouldn't be that strong. Leveling shouldn't take that much time, either, but I guess that's what you get when the game is more oriented as a MMORPG than a normal turn-based RPG. I'm very picky when it comes down to battle systems - my favourite ones are Grandia's, Tales of the Abyss' and Rogue Galaxy's. Specially Rogue Galaxy's.
