Enter Mr Saxon(played by simm from Life on Mars). Mr. Saxon is a name that has now been referenced three times in the series, first being mentioned in the 2006 season episode Love & Monsters, where it appeared in a headline on a copy of The Daily Telegraph being read by the Abzorbaloff, in which it is stated that he leads polls for a general election. The newspaper also features an advertisement for Millingdale Ice Cream. It was confirmed on the commentary track for Love & Monsters on the series 2 DVD boxset that 'Mr. Saxon' will be the story arc for the upcoming 2007 series. The early references to plotlines which feature in later episodes is a form of viral marketing.
The name was next heard in The Runaway Bride, when the tank commander opens fire on the Empress of the Racnoss' ship under order from "Mr. Saxon". The nature of how the name has been slipped in to these episodes can be compared to how the previous 'arc words' were referenced. The online commentary track for the episode make a point of singling this instance out, as David Tennant remarks "Who was that? Orders from Mr. who? Saxon?"
The third mention comes in the episode Smith and Jones, when, during a news report about the events in the episode, an interviewee says "All this just goes to prove Mr Saxon's theories." Minutes later (although the scene itself could take place some hours later), as Martha Jones meets the Doctor in an alley, a poster displaying the slogan "Vote Saxon" is prominently displayed behind her. The same posters were seen in Captain Jack Harkness, an episode of Torchwood, on the door of the derelict dance hall.
So Who is this Mister Saxon? Well first of he is a politician but am mysterious one of that. He is seen In the last 2 episodes of this series "the sound of drums" and "THE LAST TIME LORD". However If we look at the name Mister Saxon it is infact an anagram saying "Master No Six" Mr saxon may well be the Master and he has regenerated 6 times (I think)also a rumours have been heard that the scientist guy in the earlier episode called "Utopia" is the master in disguise.
Whoever Mr Saxon is It is said that the Doctor and Him will clash upon a mountainside in the final episode of this series. I can barely wait please comment.
