Because the GameFaqs contest thing is subject to mass fanboyism. Anyone who goes up against Cloud, Sephiroth, Ganondorf or Link gets beaten to a bloody pulp. =/

Maybe that's why he lost to Cloud. xD
Plus, I don't think Disgaea is a very popular game...
(Alot of new RPG fans aren't exactly grid-style fans...)
And, to fangirls, I doubt Laharl could beat bishies like...
Sephiroth, Squall, or Cloud. Dx
