Yeah, well the Ah! My Goddess the Movie came out a long while ago. So I was just wondering what all of you thought about it...Anyhoo, I personally thought that it was okay. I believed it lacked something, I just need to figure out what... confused

oh wow, i loved it, it was lovely, {although i have to tell you of a really cool amv i found about the movie on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dv_0e-ZjHLYit's cool.} yeah i loved the movie, though i do agree it lacked something the series had, i cant put my finger on it though...

well, there's alot of humor missing. the manga knew the right times and right amount to put in comic relief.
comic relief in any of the later scenes would have detracted from the plot.
I think the movie's perfect for a movie.

come on guys....buy the movie...dont watch it on youtube if you can help it.
it's a gorgeous movie and needs to be supported with money. Pioneer/Geneon did a really good job making the DVD for it too and it has TONS of extras.
If you look hard enough maybe you can find a copy cheaper than 30$, but i really encourage that you buy it, or atleast ask for it for your birthday or something...

I liked the movie, I also thought something was missing too. Couldn't quite put my finger on it either. I really don't think it needed comic relief because I think they were trying to put a more serious outlook on the relationship on Keiichi and Belldandy. I think it was a little bit more heartfelt.

I originally thought the movie took place after te first season, but fter watching the first disc of the second season (flights of fancy), I now think it takes place mid-way or after the second season. Mainly because of the fact that Skulds angel is more grown up in the movie than it is at the beginning of the second season.

Mainly because of the fact that Skulds angel is more grown up in the movie than it is at the beginning of the second season. well, it takes place after 3 years Belldandy started living with Keiichi (he even says that at the beginning of the movie when they're driving by the cherry trees) so yeah, it takes place after the 2nd season.

I personally think that it needed some more romance between Keiichi and Belldandy. I also think the "Angels" should have gotten more screen time. I love World of Elegance!

I loved it. I have the collectors addition and just fell in love with it. It was totally wicked. Well that's my thoughts on it anyway.
