I was wondering, and I know now that not all marching bands have color guard but I was wondering how many marching bands do?
Are you apart of the Color Guard?
do you even like the color Guard?

yes we have a color guard of about 20.....
no im not in the color guard....
im really good friends with them

The corps has one.
No I'm not in it.
Nobody likes the colour guard.

My Marching Band-uh doesn't have a color guard either. I did in High School, but they were small and pathetic, hence no one liked them. It consisted of the flutes that couldn't play very well...they weren't very good at twirling flags either ><

We have a colorguard and 5 baton twirlers.
I am not a part of either section
I don't hate them if that's what you mean lol

My high school band has 6 guard for 113 member band.
They aren't just guard girls either. They twirl and everything. And in concert band, they are required to play their instrument.
My university band [quite smaller] has three guard for 30 member band.
[Hopefully we really will get 15 incoming freshman.]

we have a really big guard. they always seem to be dating the trumpets...

Every marching band I've ever seen has a color guard. I was in it Freshman year, but color guard tends to get at least a few...not-so-nice girls that put you down. I obviously respect color guard since I've done it before and I know what they go through, especially when it comes to sucky instructors.

No, our school doesn't have a color gaurd. or if we do, I've never seen them. Our J ROTC has some sort of marching thing, but i've never seen them do any kind of show. We don't have a dance team either. it's just us and the cheerleaders.
