I'm sure everyone in the guild will be amazed to hear... There will in fact be a 14th installment to the Series of Unfortunate Events! The book, titled The Reckless Ruse, will be released next fall, exact date unknown.
According to Harper Collins, Snicket said "As much as I would have loved to ended the books with The End, it is my sad and dreadful duty to continue their tale and bring their demises to public attention." I will try my best to find further information concerning this surprising turn of events. Who knows what Lemony Snicket is typing away at his typewriter at this very moment. Unfortunately, Snicket's typewriter is unavailable for comment.

surprised This is awesome news! ^_^ Can't wait to find out more about it! Lots of new LS stuff coming out!
