These are the roads traveled by many, and by few. The roads that are known by all, or the ones you make yourself through the dangerous lands of Joura.

This is were all travling between Cities and different places is to be played. You must have at least one post here describing your mode of transport, where you came from and where you are going. The only way around it is if you have the ability to teleport, which only certin classes have. You may hold a longer roleplay here if you wish, but only a minimum of one post for all who wish to travel.

Rui was making a ruteen trip to Natura, one of the best places to sell her goods. Since it was in a constant state of lock down they rarely got any creatures coming in from the outside, pets were in high demand.

She walked along side her skud that pulled a cart filled with Pudge-Grommers and Dragonflies, both important to the market in Natura so she could command top doller for both creatures. As she passed a travler's shrine for Floex, the god of animals she made a rude gesture twards it.

"God of animals my a**"

She thaught rudly to herself. Gods were nothing but pompus fat-pricks sitting on their big thrones wile their preists went off to war.

This was Rui's opinion of the gods and she was stickin' to it!

It was only for a moment, and though it was only that moments thought from this person cross the shrine, it was enough to get the Goddesses attention from her home in the God's Kingdom. Materializing behind the shrine of herself, Floex wandered out from behind in disgues as an older woman, a remake of an old priest that had passed a long while ago.
"You know, you should watch what you do. The Gods can have a swift punishment for those who offend."
She drawlled on in that old cracked voice of the priest. Looking out to the traveler with old eyes and a wrinkled face, the diguised Floex was probably considered swift to punish, espically when the offence was to her personally. Leaning heavily on a cain and giving the traveler an old grin she would wait the responce of this offender as she thought this would be intresting. All the war and still people had time to disbeileve and insult what was infront of them everyday. Ah well, the fault of mortals thought the Goddess.

Rui halted her Skud for a moment. Concidering how strange it was that an old preistess would come out of a small shrine that she was sure was empty at the time. She concidered the lady with her almond-shaped eyes, the beeds in her hair rustling together in what might be an agitated way.

Usualy Rui would have no responce or keep silent, but on subjects of gods and punishment she rarely had nothing to say.

"I fear no god, or in this case godess. Now I suggest you go preach to someone who will listen, old hag."

She glared down at the old woman. No way would she listen to someone who preached of gods when her dad was among them, yet came back in an ash tray.

The old woman only bowed her head and raised a brow at the Kert and her sharp tounge. You would think that they would be used to people like this, but anythig other than her beloved animals irritated the goddess to no end.
"Very well."
Was her only responce before the Pudge-Grommers and Dragonflies went wild in the cart. Making a loud racket and moving restlessly, it would never be easy to get them settled back down when Floex was angered around them. These were her children, and they knew when she was angery.
"Maybe it would be better to tell somone who listened, but it looks like you have the same problem with your creatures."
She retorted, raising up a bit to let out a laugh that rang through the forest around the shrine.

Rui honestly had no problem with the racket. most of them would get tired before nightfall when she had to stop for the night. Althou, it was interesting that they acted so with the apparent irritation of the old woman. Rui wasn't so sure of her being crippled as her form showed, but that didn't make her any less of an old hag.

"Not mine, they are headed to market for some good homes. Natura, the pudge grommers are in high demand there with all the trash piling up, and Dragonflies always fetch a decent price."

Rui knew the Pudge grommers would not only fetch a good price but live a happy, lazy, fat life in that city of persistant lock-down.

She seemed to be unmoved by the rising up of the old woman. She grew up in too small of a town to understand the true meaning of danger, but dispite that something told her that she should be getting on her way... another part of her told her that she couldn't get away even if she cared enough to run.

With a sigh the old woman vanished, leaving nothing but the wind and dust in her place. This one cared for her children, but bothered not to care for the one that looked over them. Sure her Father was sent back as basically nothing, but things are lost in War as they are gained, there wasnt much the Gods could have done anyway. They cant meddel in such things, yet these mortals always insisted they could.
"You should beware such easy profit, espically when the things bringing in money are things with brains..."
Called a different voice before all traces of Floex disappeared to the wind and sky. She would watch this one, though she should watch the Pudge-Grommers a bit more. With the irritation and what not she had left her creatures, they began to bite at the cart in attempts to eat it. But when Floex left the area, they calmed down a bit, though it would be a long while before they rested.

Rui knew now that the goddess was watching her as she had passed the shrine. Just her luck to stumble appon the one godess who delt with her profession... great.... She had a sneeking suspision that things would get a lot harder for her in days to come, but she would keep going.

As the godess left Rui gave her the finger, the only way she could find to express her fealings twards any celestial beings, and pushed the Skud forward, ignoring the Pudge-gromers' crys for food as their drool began to digest their cages at a painfuly slow rate.

Today was going to be a long day.....

Jedit sat in the saddle and patted his Skuds neck. He appeared rather imposing mounted, his shining broze shield stapped to the skuds side, his sword at his hip and his spear strapped on the opposite side of the skud of his shield. His fur glistened in the early morning light his ears rotated constantly listening for the slightest sound of apporach his tail moving from side to side slowly. He was a proud tigeral warrior! Trained from brith for combat and he was in his prime. Looking around he chose a direction, turning his skud around he headed east.
Come Budha lets see what is over this way.

Rui was growing tired of walking and debated actualy getting in the cart, rather than lead the skud manualy she could give him verbal comands and take her chances on weather or not he would listen.

She took her chances and hopped in, sitting between two dark blue dragonflies. Just as she turned to face the road again and urge the Skud forward once again she saw the strangest sight.

A tigeral in saddle, on a skud no less! Most of their kind were too proud to ride anything less than a Kirin. Rui paused for a moment to ponder on why this one would ride a skud. They weren't exactly the best war mounts in the world. All of them were stubborn, and cranky, they bit their owners too! Kirin were much better suited to a Tigeral's needs.

Meanwile her own Skud was grateful for the short break and laied down in the grass.

((CRYTUF LIED TO ME!!!! she said they were good war mounts and could fight...))
Jedit Heard the sounds of animals up ahead and pulled Budha's reins in so he would stop. Holding his hand up to block the sun from his eyes as he scanned the horizion. There it was, a cart with what appeared to be caged animals. The cart didn't seem to bee moving and the skud pulling it seemed to be asleep.
Come on Budha lets see whats going on up ahead
slapping the reins and digging his heels into Budha's sides, and the larger than average skud started into motion at a quick gallop, not a full charge but fast enough to get them there in a short time.

Rui continued to stare off at the rider, who was now coming closer. With the sun at her back she wondered how it must have reflected off the beeds in her hair.... their shine must have been what part of the poor travler's sight problems

As the Tigeral got closer she notaced that his skud carried armor and weapons of war, an odd choice for travling geer. She waved to him in the distance, an array of bracelets jingling on her arm as she did so.

As Jedit got closer to the cart he noticed a female kert, and a rather attractive one at that. He looked down at her his height added to that of Budha he was well above her eye level. He smiled and raised up his Right hand a traditional greeting amongs his tribe, showing he came in peace and was unarmed, well without a sword or spear in hand.
Peace favor you my fellow travler. Do you need any help, you skud seems to have his own agenda.
He tried to keep the humor and a lugh out of his voice tring to maintain his warriors calm.

Rui was buisy staring off into the distance, her own thaughts distracting her, mostly that of a warm bed when she reached Natura. It seemed just a moment before the warrior was practicaly on top of her, this effect was amplified by the fact that he had to be a good foot and a half taller than her even with the cart's added hight to her.

She snapped back to reality and nodded, almost oblivious to what he had said.

"No, I was just resting."

She told him as she stood up off the cart, fealing shorter than ever now without the cart's hight to put her at least at his chest level. Now she dwindled somewere along the lines of his knee or the skud's sholder hight.

She pushed some hair out of her eyes, the bracelets jingled against the sky blue beeds in her hair as she did this, then looked back up at the travler... MANNERS!

She returned the Tigeral's Salute, she had only the faintest idia what it ment from her books... something about peace but she couldn't reacall. Peace sounded good though.... better than armed combat that these guys were proned to, that was for sure!

This time he couldn't help but laugh a deep hearty laugh sounding almost like a growl. He hadn't really noticed just how small she was when she was on her cart. Now he noticed her massive amounts of bracelets and the beads in her hair. Sniffing and looking around, he saw no one traveling with her and it appeared like she had no weapons on her barely clad self. In his sniffing he picked up the hint of her scent and it sparked his interest.
It looks like you could use a traveling partner, if for nothing else that some conversation. Besides, even with times as they are, its not a good idea for a female to travel by herself.
