Do any of you wait until a game is no longer $50 until you buy it? I've been going crazy waiting until FFXII goes down a bit so that I can reasonably afford it.
Does anyone else wait, or are you just too impatient? Discuss!

Yeah, I sometimes wait. But most of the time I'm just way too impatient to wait. FFXII is really, really fun by the way. I think you'll like it.

It does depend on the game, i waited for DQVIII and my parents got it for xmas for me so yeah but it was a wait till it went to around the $50 mark. (here it is 100+ for a new game) but in the case of FFXII well i went out and got it on the release date lol.

always! Personaly I am way too poor to go for the release date, and if I get lucky my friends get it before me so I can pull a game swap with them after they beat them, barrowing with caladeral. (( being the only person in the school with the whole colection of .//hack games has its advantages! ))
Guess I'm just lucky that way. blaugh

It depends on the game.
Most of them I do wait for a price drop but there have been some games that I was waiting for them to come out for quite a while.
I just ended up saving up the money so I could buy it when they released it. But it's rare that I do that.

I almost always do that now. >.> I used to refuse to buy used games as well, but now half of my games are used.
Quite a change when I moved out on my own and now have to buy everything myself. razz

I almost always buy my own games used or a while after release. I can't afford them at the "just released" price. If I got it at full price, it was a gift.

Most of the time I will wait for a game to be less expensive, but if it's a game I'm really excitd about then I'll usually save up for it so I can buy it as soon as it comes out.

I usually wait with games I plan on playing alone. But when a group of my friends are getting a game for the multiplayer mode I hop aboard and buy a copy as well.

Almost always. Unless I just got paid and I end up drooling at games I want. I usually wait on PC games a lot more. I don't know why. I'm pretty bad about waiting for Wii games. I can't get enough of that Wiimote.

Actually Wal-mart had a promotion deal and sold it at $45ish and on top of that I split the cost with my friend. So I only had to pay half. Sweet deal if you ask me biggrin

Really? I bought a game and they gave me a scratched disk, which I didn't discover until I started playing the game. I took it back and they exchanged the disk with no charge. I guess it depends on how many disks they have hidden back there.
