Blize is a land of beauty. Unlike Natura everyone runs free. It is home to all the creatures that avoid war, protected by the God Dyil. He has vowed that if anyone is to hurt this land he will have their hide and their soul.

"Sophia!.....Sophia!" Came her father's deep voice. "Come on, Sophia, wake up." Brushing her eyes of sleep Sophia drowsily struggled to her feet. Then, she wandered down to the riverbank and splashed her face with water. Sophia then continued on with her morning tasks until she was fully ready to face the day. Sighing, her father patted her on the shoulder and gave Sophia a longbow and quiver. "You are ready now to weild these. I bestow these upon you as a family heirloom as a father must pass these on to his firstborn child. Bear these accordingly and use them well, my child." Overwhelmed with pride, Sophia took them in her hands. "Yes, father. I will." she replied. Stringing the quiver to her belt, Sophia slung the bow across her chest. At about that moment he three brothers Ohna, Xander and Jin-Ho had come into the forest clearing. Ohan, noticing the bow nearly had a heart attack, but tried to throw a fit instead. "Father! What is this? I am your firstborn son! Why was the family herloom not given to me?" Chuckling, Sterling placed a hand on Sophia's shoulder. "You remember the traditions. The family herlooms are to be passed down to the family's firstborn child when they come of age, you remember." Apparently dissapointed, Ohan walked away in a huff. Turning to Sophia, Sterling took her by the shoulders, and kissing bother her cheeks, he said "It is time now for you to go into the world. I bid you good luck." Hugging her father and returning his kisses Sophia responded "I will surely make you proud, father. Make sure mother and all the others don't worry too much about me." Walking to the forest's edge, she waved, bidding her father and brothers farewell.

Shelley had gotten the day off from her apprenticship with her father, and spent it playing in the woods near her secluded home. The little girl of only nine was out playing in her white dress of all things, running, jumping, climbing trees, and playing with the animals that would come near her. To her, life was just a game outside of training to be a Leathersmith.

Running along one of her self made trails, Shelley was giggleing at a little bird she was following. Stopping suddenly she could have sworn she heard hoof beats, but she didnt see anything, so she shrugged it off and continued on, though at a walk this time. Occasionally she would stop and pick a flower, adding them together to make a little something for her father.

Seeing a young girl, Sophia walked towards her curiously. "What is she doing here?" Sophia wondered aloud. Breaking into a trot Sophia then grabbed her bow and fired an arrow but aiming slightly to the girl's right just to miss her. Breaking into a run Sophia then sped past the girl and wheeled about. Stringing another arrow then she pointed it at the girl, hopefully stopping her in her tracks. Keeping a feirce face Sophia stood her own ground. "What do you want from this place, girl?" Sophia demanded of her. Sophia didn't want to scare the child, but it was of her nature to protect her herd and the grounds they lived in.

Lowering her bow slightly, Sophia still kept a stern look. But it was hard since her eyes usually gave her away. "You shouldn't be so far from home, young one. There's foul creatures afoot." Sophia said in a stern but gentle voice. She hadn't encountered a human in all her life and she was taught to not fear humans, but she couldn't help it.

Shelley hand a handful of flowers and two held just above each ear, giving her that innocent look that was only a mask to her really. Skipping happily, SHelley didnt expect anyone to be around, since she hadnt seen anyone around this far away fomr the village.

The arrow that passed by her right made little Shelley scream and hit the ground, cowering away from the shot, flowers spread all around. Looking up from under her hands little Shelley's eyes were wide with fear as she looked at the arrow point, which was the only thing scaring her. To answer the Centaurs question, she picked up a flower and held it up for the other to see, slowly sitting up after the woman put the bow down.
"Flowers for papa."
She spoke, her sweet tones quivering with fear. When she spoke again Shelley moved her legs closer to her and held onto the flower she had, white dress falling about her small frame.
"It's okay, I can fend for myself."
She said, acting bigger than she was. It was hard to tell this sweet girl was really a Werebear.

Sophia hadn't expected the child to stay, but she had almost expected fear. Her nostrils flaring, Sophia smelled something different about this girl. "Hmmm....." she mumbled looking the girl over. Her heavy hooves pounding the earth, Sophia looked this girl over. Smiling coyly Sophia said to her "You aren't even full human, are you?" Hearing the hooves of another Centaur, Sophia turned to see Ohan, her brother.

"Sophia. You know the laws, you aren't supposed to fraternise with humans. I'll tell father about this." Ohan told Sophia. Shaking her head Sophia replied "Father sent me out into the world. Your pleas for attention will not reach father's ears. Now begone!" At that, she shooed Ohan away. Drawing his twin swords, Ohan charged Sophia. Surprisingly agile for her size Sophia deftly pranced out of the way. Rising on her back legs, Sophia kicked Ohan in the chest. "Perhaps that will teach you, Ohan. Now, back to the herd with you!" Defeated, Ohan walked away.

Turning her attention back to the girl, Sophia offered her a hand. "I shall accompany you on your way home, if you wish. I am curious to the ways of the world." Sophia said in a strict tone to Shelly. Sophia did wish to explore the world but she was rather fearful of it. Returning to earth, Sophia patiently waited for the young girl to respond to her offer.

Shelley looked up at the Centaur, but the fear that had once made its way to her eyes was now leaving, giving her that innocent stare she was known for. With the question Sophia asked, Shelley smiled up and shook her head.
"Nope."
Was all she said, figuring the centaur had some sort of ability to tell anyway.

Hearing another set of hooves, Shelley scampered back behind a tree trunk, peering out at another Centaur, though she didnt bother to listen to the conversation. She was too worried about getting shot at again. When the two creatures began to fight, Shelley hid herself behind the tree and held tight to her little flower.

It wasnt till she heard the sound of hooves in retreat that she moved back out into the open, looking up to the taller creature. Looking at the hand for a moment, it took her a minute to understand before reaching up and taking it happily.
"Come on! I will let you meet father!"
She said happily, leading the way back to the village.

Smiling at her, Sophia took the girl by the hand and placed her on her own back. Gently Sophia broke into a trot. "So, which way to your home?" Sophia asked her. It will be a surprise for them to see a Centaur in their town... she thought. Slowing back down to a walk after a while, Sophia quite enjoyed exploring the outsie world.

"What is it like in your village? I've never had the pleasure of being in a human town." she decided to ask. She had many questions but she didn't want to confuse the girl. After a while Sophia saw the gates to a town. "This leads to your village, correct?" she said, pointing to the gates and wandering closer. "Your father would probably be either angry or worried if he saw you with me."

Shelley was a bit shaken by being picked up so suddenly, but she quickly got over it when she realized what the Centaur was doing. Shelley simply pointed in the direction of her home, since around here, everything could be found going in a straight line if you knew the direction.

"Its fun there. It's always safe, and the people all really care for each other."
She replied, happily sitting on the centaurs back. As they approched the gates, Shelley slipped down off the others back and sprinted a little bit ahead, waving to the gate keeper to open the door. Slowly but surely the gates opened to welcome them in.

Joggin back a little to the Centaur, Shelley grabbed the womans hand and tried to lead her along to the Leathersmithy in town.
"Come on, come on! Father wont mind."
She said in a giggly voice as they wandered through the town to the leathersmithy.

Letting go of Sophias hand she ran into the Smithy and waved to her father.
"Daddy, I found a friend."
She called, waving Sophia to come closer.

Smiling at the young girl's innocence, Sophia quickly followed her. Looking to the Leathersmithy Sophia bowed her head in curteousy. "It is a pleasure to meet you, sir." She looked around the village whilst absentmindedly smoothing the old leather belt that had been passed to her from her mother. Wide-eyed with wonder, Sophia was just slightly intimidated by the onlookers, most of them children.

After a moment, one of the children had gotten bold. The young boy reached up and touched her hand. Looking down to the boy Sophia smiled and reached her hand back out to him. He backed away but giggled happily when he realized that she meant no harm. Touching the young boy's hair, she found it to be soft. Then, surprisingly to her, the people began to warm up to her once they had gotten over the wonder and slight shock. Her hand still remaining gently on the boy's head, Sophia turned her attention back to Shelly and her father.

Shelleys father walked up beside his daughter after setting down the leather he was making into armor and wiping his hands off on a towel. It was so odd to see them standing together, he was a big stalky man who could have been a Blacksmith or weaponsmith. Calloused hands and a thick beard that matched his mane like hair atop his head, which was brown in color. While his daughter was a little skinny girl with blonde hair who wore white dresses.

As they looked on at the Centaur as she slowly was introduced to the village, they smiled wide and held back giggles. Well, her father did at least, Shelley was all in a fit of giggles.

When her attention came back to Shelley and her dad, he was kind enough to great her.
"Hello, pleasure to meet you too. Any friend of Shelleys is a friend of the family, miss...?"
He said to her, asking for her name at the end so he wasnt reduced to calling her miss the whole time.

"Sophia Kicksinger at your service." Sophia said to him, bowing her head. Looking around the small town Sophia smiled "This town is peaceful... I wish I could stay a while." Smiling gently at Shelly's father, Sophia laughed slightly as well. Biting her lip in nervousness Sophia let her smile fade only slightly.

"I wonder what Mother and Father would think if they saw me now..." Sophia wondered aloud to herself. Ducking slightyly into the Leathersmith's shop Sophia had to satisfy her curiosity. "Forgive me.... This is the first time that I have set hoof in a human town." Sophia said quietly.

Shelley was still giggleing like, well, a little girl, while her father bowed to the centaur in a respectful manner. The leathersmith wasnt completely without manners.
"Well, its a pleasure to meet you, Miss Sophia."
He said stepping back into his smithy to let the woman inside. Shelley followed behind, answering Sophia as she trotted into the smithy.
"You could stay if you wanted! The people really seem to like you."
She said aloud, looking to her father who gave a nod of approvement.

Skipping over to a chair Shelley took a seat while her father looked around.
"Well, Miss, I would offer you a seat, but uh..."
He started, giving a shrug after a moment before waving his hand around to offer her a seat anywhere she felt.

"First time in a human village? Your odd."
Shelley said, giving an odd look to the centaur as she sat on her chair, feet hanging off the edge.
"Shelley, be nice."
Her father scolded.

"I would be honored to stay here." Sophia gently said, nodding to Shelly. Smiling at Shelly's father Sophia laughed at bit "It is a pleasure to meet you as well, sir."

Folding her legs under her, Sophia was brought down to their level. "Yes, this is the first time being in a human town." Hearing her father's scolding Sophia just laughed and smiled. "It's alright, sir. Allow me to explain. My clan and my herd has kept itself in solitude for generations now. But I am the first of the Kicksinger clan to have so much interaction with humans."

Smiling to herself, Sophia looked around the shop. "It's a wonder the people of your town have taken to me so well. One of my brothers would slaughter anyone on scene or if they just looked at him the wrong way." Turning to Shelly she said "I believe you've seen him before."

Her father took a seat on a chair near his work bench, looking over the Centaur as she brought herself down.
"Well, not here per se, but at our home a little ways out of town. I would hate to leave such a nice woman in a dirty Smithy."
He replied, motioning around the room at the rather dirty Smithy he ran. He tried to get Shelley to clean, but that didnt work too well.

They both listened to her speak of her clan, and seemed a bit puzzled at why they would keep themselves away from other people. But they didnt bother to ask.
"Well, we are used to people like you! Your not really the first, but the first in a long while."
Shelley chimed in, looking to her father before going on.
"He was your brother? He's mean..."
She pouted, looking to the ground and crossing her arms over her chest. Her father remained quiet though.
