Rippledew is a land of peace. One of the only areas that has never seen war many families live here. Although it is underwater the water is breatheable by any race becuase of a special chemical invented by Holi, the water goddess.

Damen sat quietly by the water, skipping rocks. The days meeting had been long and he just felt like relaxing away from all the merfolk he had to put up with daily. He got bored rather quickly with skipping rocks and rested his head on his arms as he sat down. There wasn't much to do in Rippledew but there wasn't anywhere else for him to go.
He looked out over the water at Karovinchi, quite a bit aways from Rippledew but still in sight. He grabbed a few smooth rocks next to him and started skipping rocks again.

Kanji walked quietly from the woods along the coast of Rippledew, treading down to the waters edge with quiet steps before stopping. Looking out over the water he took in the salty air with a deep breath and let it out slowly. This place was so calm to him, it was amazing that more people didnt come here just to listen to the waves on the beach.

Looking up and down the shore Kanji spotted someone else taking in the scene, and skipping rocks. Deciding to ignor the other for now, Kanji resumed looking out over the sea.

Without warning and for seemingly no apparent reason, Kanji threw back his head and let out a loud, long howl which carried over the waters and echoed back from the forest behind him. Then, he waited.

Damen turned at the sound of rustling fur a few feet away. The loif was large and Damen found it quite interesting. After the howl he stopped paying attention, wishing Midi would come talk to him. She was currently tied up in a meeting so he just put up with being by himself.

Kanji could see out of the corner of his eye that the boy had become intrested in what he was doing, good thing he didnt attack though. While he waited a wave, bigger than the rest had been washed up onto the shore before Kanji.

Traveleing fast it slowy started to take shape, from simple water to something with four legs, then distinguishing features before all the water fell away and Aino was standing before Kanji. The water streams the came from the collar around his neck moving in a soothing wave motion while he stood there.
"Yes Kanji? What is it?"
The cat creature asked, sitting back after speaking so they werent both standing like they were about to fight.

Kanji continued to stand though, his legs already used to being extened like this.
"Glad to see your still around. We need to talk... with all the ancients."
He said, tail moving slowly back and forth behind him.

Damen wasn't surprised when Aino showed up. He usually stayed around Rippledew. It was just natural for creatures that preferred the water. When they began to talk he tried not to listen but his curiosity got the best of him as he turned his head to look at them.

When they began to talk about the Ancients he listened more intently. He huffed a small laugh and covered his mouth for the outburst, hoping the two Ancients hadn't heard that. He couldn't imagine Oro leaving his mountain. Damen figured Oro had never left that mountain before and sometimes wondered how he got all of his knowledge.

Damen continued to listen intently. He wanted to know what was going on in the world since he never left this small area.

They both heard the laughter of the boy, but only Kanji's ear turned toward him to pick up the noise. Aino was used to it.
"Well, where are we going?"
The cat asked, long tail patting the ground next to him as they spoke.
"To Qourintu. You know Oro doesnt leave his mountain."
Kanji replied, shaking the fur on his head out slightly as if to enforce the point.

Both the ancients stood quiet for a minute, as if both had said everything that needed to be said, but that boy was still intrseted, Anio could tell. Getting up Anio started down the shore line toward Damen, Kanji followed at Aino's side.
"Who all do we have to get?"
Aino asked after they stared walking.
"Everyone. A few know, but the others need to be informed"
Kanji replied. This ment splitting up after this coversation to go and search all of Joura for them.

Damen became a bit nervous as the Ancients approached him but didn't move from his sitting position. They wouldn't hurt him so there was no reason to worry. He thought of all the Ancients and where they were, not sure they could actually get a hold of them all.

Lilith flew down from the sky, landing lightly next to the two four-legged Ancients. She always knew when she was needed.

"So. What is the plan?"

She had been listening all along, just like Damen.

The two four legged ancients stopped when Lilith appeared. Looking up to her the smaller of the two ancients, Aino, seemed to raise a brow.
"You shouldnt do that to people you know. Mortals can get jumpy."
He said in a matter of fact tone. He also knew they were close enough to Damen now so he could hear them.

Kanji looked over to Aino with a smile and shook his head before looking back to Lilith.
"We split up and find them."
He said simply. He knew it wasnt a prefered method of finding people, but they didnt have direct communication like the gods did, they actually had to find one another to talk.

Anio's streams of water flicked the air slightly and he turned to look out over the sea. Being the only water ancient ment he would have to leave his presious home to find the others and meet.

Chanson laughed and jumped down from the rigging. She grabbed another dagger from out of one of the many bags on the ship, placing it on her belt where the other had been.

"You're more help then them and that's all I can ask."

She said referring to the two miscrients. She seemed deep in thought but snapped herself out of it quickly so she wasn't being rude.

Andi walked back onto the deck, the hold now clean. He was a little peeved and decided to stay away from his brother unless he wished to kill him.

"So. Why are you heading to the main land?"

Andi asked Tango. There had to be some reason. Maybe for her dancing, maybe for other types of work or maybe just to get away from Karovinchi. It didn't bother him.

Len climbed down from the crow's nest, Meiyo straight after him. They both jumped onto the deck with loud thups as they adjusted their clothing.

"How are you going to pay for the service, miss?"

Len asked a little rude in his tone. He wasn't one for tact and he didn't like having passangers that didn't know his brother's ship.

Hearing what the first mate said made Tnago smile, least she was being somewhat useful. Seeing as she was in thought, Tango turned and walked along the rails of the ship, hand sliding along the wood as her boots thumped with each step. Hearing the Captain she stopped and looked up with a smile.
"Hero stuff mostly. I got this feeling somethings going down."
She replied politly to him, raping her fingers on the rails as she replied.

The thuds of the other two landing on the deck caught her attention as she turned her head slightly to look at them. With a smile she turned her body to face them and rested the lower part of her back against the rails.
"I plan to pay whatever price your Captain sets for me."
She said, not really answering their question to being with but putting emfices on the word Captain. Looking over to the Capatin she waited to see if he would indeed charge for her passage. She wouldnt be suprised, thats why she had money with her.

Len looked cockily at Tango, a thought in his head.

"You could always pay me."

He said looking her up and down. Andi slapped him in the back of the head so hard it sent him flying forward. He turned so that he was sitting and rubbed at the back of his head. Not one of the crew members laughed. This was probably the only fight between the brothers that they had seen in a long time.

"Anyway. There is no need for payment. As long as you keep quiet about what happens on this ship then you'll be fine. Otherwise we'll tie you to the mast and get the captain's daughter."

Chanson said with a light laugh. They didn't even have a whip on the ship as far as her knowledge but she wouldn't be surprised if Meiyo had snuck one on.

A look of disgust came over Tangos face, and when she was about to give a rather nasty come back of her own, Andi smacked the offender in the head. That was good enough for her and she didnt say another word on the matter.

Looking over to Chanson, happy for the change in subject, Tango offered a laugh.
"Its alright. I wouldnt tell a soul."
She said, knowing the chances of her bringing it up again was slim anyway. Turning her head slightly to look out at the sea she took in the air and smiled to herself.

Damen watched as a ship came closer to Rippledew. It was abnormal because most people came to Rippledew by land, excluding Aino who only came by water. His attention had gone from the Ancients until he heard something about mortals.

Lilith sighed.

"I'll give you my wings if I need to find someone. It would be much faster if I tried to find them all as you headed to Qorintu."

She noticed the ship as well, but didn't think to much about it.

*****

Andi looked across the water.

"We're almost there. Start tying up the sails again so we don't beach the ship. Tango, could you try to steer? We just need you to keep it as straight as possible."

He jumped into the rigging followed closely by Len and Meiyo as Chanson tied off the ropes that needed to be tied.

Kanji looked up to Lilith and sighed.
"You think you can find them all? A few I know to be rather stubborn."
Kanji replied, though the thought in his head was 'none more stubborn than Nili.'

Aino looked over to the ship and tilted his head slightly. That was a suprise to see, ships did come, but only once in a grand while.
"Well, while you to argue, I want to go see."
He said before bounding off into the water. Into would actually not work here, onto works better. Bounding across the top of the water he ran along side the ship to check it out. Much like a dolphin would do.

**

Tango straightened up suddenly when the offer of steering the ship came up.
"Yes, sir!"
She called before running from her spot to the wheel. Grabbing hold of teh wheel she kept the ship going as straight as possible, working against inexperiance to keep the ship going one direction. Though it was harder than it looked, she just couldnt keep the smile off her face.
