I created this thread in case anyone (like me) is just having a really bad day and wants to get all their anger out in a large rant. It's also for people who find themselves obsessed with something and want to say a huge amount about it in order to get it out of their system. Feel free to rant about anything you like but there are some rules:
Rule 1. This is still THG, so keep it PG-13 folks. While swear words may be useful to some for getting out anger, y'can't swear or use bad language(s) in this thread.
Rule 2. I was rather loose with the phrase "rant about whatever you want". What I meant was, "rant about whatever you want within the boundaries that are in place around the rest of THG".
I'll get us started, shall I? xD
Ok so I had to go to a careers convention today which was fine but then the rest of my day turned out to be really annoying. So when I get home, I find that the CD I was expecting in the mail hasn't arrived. I was looking forward to that CD so much! It would have cheered me right up. Instead, I was bummed for most of tonight.

I hate school. It's the work part of it. I don't like doing school work. But, I have to cuz I'm starting to look at colleges and I'm aiming very high and everyone wants me to be smart and I'm trying to be, but I"m just so lazy and I don't care about most things in school except for my freinds and lunch. Yum...lunch. But oh well, I'm going to do the work like the little robot that we all are when in school and go and become a history teacher. I might teach your children someday. Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Where have brains gone? It seems like 90% of the population of the Western world has lost the power to THINK.
You walk up to a young person in the street and ask them about politics..and they don't care...all they're interested in is their own little bubble of life: sex, alcohol, and fashion.
Last year at college, there was a girl in my class who actually spelled "gangster" wrong in an essay..she wrote "gangsta"...
She also didn't know what happened in 1066...and when we told her..she just said "I've never done history". I did history at school and we never did about the battle of hastings but I still knew when it was!
Another girl in my class didn't know who Nelson Mandela was... and another didn't know what leather was made from... and yet another, didn't even know who the priminster is in England right now. How do these people live their lives? do they not care about the world? obviously not, if it doesn't contain sex, booze and fashion.
Where has intelligence gone??! why the hell is everyone so stupid!!!!

Sex. Se, sex, sex, it's alll about sex, we go to a party, it has to do with girls, we go to the mall, we have to dress nice for the girls, sex, sex ,sex, I even think about it you know, it's instinct, I can't help it, and it makes me want to chop my genitals off. Why can't we men control our bloody stupid urges, it disgusts me, even buddhist monks have to ban women from their temples so that they aren't "tempted". I hate how everything has to be about sex, and even I think about, because of these stupid hormones coursing through my body. Love, yes, I'd love some actual, mutrual, geniune love, but I'm a patiuent person, I'll wait another 15 years for love, and I can't say that to my friends, because they're all "guys" the same guys that drink beer to be manly, and other such things, I hate peer pressure, I hate my fellow men, and I hate the human body, Rawwwwr domokun

I agree with Neit to some extent. I recently broke up with my girlfriend and since we decided to remain friends, I went into Belfast(closest town with proper shops) with her and some other friends on Saturday. If there was one thing that could have made me want to get back together with her, it'd be her trying on a pretty dress and then asking me "What do you think?". And I was all like "Damn, these hormones! D<"

Everything is about sex...to sell products the media links them to sex...to sell music, artists have to have sex appeal...it's so damn hard to find someone to have a DECENT relationship with because all they want is sex, because that's what they think you want! Luckily for me I found someone who's different 3nodding heart So don't give up people! my rant: All I want is a long black coat...like Blade's...or a matrix coat..I see enough people wearing them at college..but can I get one? no! I went to Afflecks, a shop that sells everything Gothic, punk and alternative and guess what..they didn't have any! They had plenty of MENS long coats..oh yes..but no womens! Goddammit!!!!!! I really want one crying

I hate how people just forget about me. It's like I'm the biggest person in our entire school, but whenever it comes to social things, no one ever remembers where I am! I make a better name for myself with strangers! Even people where I used to work (for like two months) know that I was always forgotten back where I came from by the mere expression of my face. Then when I do try to get social and somehow manage to get in social groups, I'm always the odd man out no matter what the situations. At least until I become useful. "*insert name* can you help me with this homework question?" "Do you know the answer to this?" Yeah, not pleasant...

Hippocrates! All fo them! Always criticising people and not telling them, just becaus eit could be 'mean', yet what they are doing is even worse, because the person has no idea why the hell it's happening to them, they just think life hates them, when in reality, its just some stupid reason, and it's just dishonest, if you don't like someone, tell it to their face! Ok, my friend is a social recluse. He dislikes contact with other people. Now that doesn't make him a bad person, but one of the things he thinks most strongly about is alcohol. He hates it. Which is also fine, I say fair play to him. However, what I don't appreciate is his attempts to enforce/inflict his beliefs on other people. I am organising a camping trip in the summer for myself and about 9 other people. My friend said he would go with us, but only if he reserved the right to complain about the fact that we were bringing alcohol with us. This led to an argument during which I told him that if he plans on ruining the trip for the 10 people involved, then he's not going at all. Either he wises up or stays at home.

its annoying how all guys seem like they want a certain type of girl it isn't fair. and boys guys turn out to be jerks. ha, and all i can do is be nice to everybody, and im proud of that. but what gets me mad is what my friends do. i'm always left out and although i do have a lot of friends it just seems like i get enough attention. not that im a selfish person, im not. and when ur friends talk about you behind your back well, that just is horrible. like my friend just did recently to me. but u can't really help that. itsjust how lifei s i gues..
