I know that I will sound like a complete idiot and that I am not very open minded, but all through the whole section of hearing Edward's voice I thought it was actually him. See I thought that he somehow had another unexplained power that allowed him to speak telapathicly (SP) and he was near enough to see what was going on so that was allowing him to talk to her, to keep her alive. It actually shocked me at the end when it really was her mind trying to keep the memorys alive. smile

that's what I thought in the beginning... but then I realized it was probably her conscience telling her what's not safe.

LOL! I thought the same thing! Omgosh.. I was like "He has to be there.... there has to be some power to let him do that..." But that's kinda.. pushing the supernatural powers thing.. haha xDD
It shocked me at the end too when he wasn't actually doing anything. xD

I thought that too. Then I slowly figured it out.
When she first heard his voice, that night going to the movies with Jessica. I thought he was there, like behind her or something, so I was somewhat dissapointed.

I was really hoping that it was him because that would have been romantic.

I think I had the idea that it was just...I don't know how to say this and not sound all lovey dovey.
I guess I'm not big on a lot of scientific explainations because they tend to ruin the "mood" of things.
It made sense that it was her concsious, but oh did I want it to be more.

I had the idea that Bella was slowly turning into a vampire, and that was her power - speaking telepathically etc. I mean..if the place where she was bitten is always a few degrees cooler, doesn't that make a little part of her slightly a vampire? what if Edward missed a bit of the venom? I think I didn't really believe it though..it's one of those suspicions that just occur to you after you read enough. Actually I've gotten to the point where I analyse as i read..or watch a movie.

lol I thought Edward was really there at the beginning. NOt talking telepathically but out loud. I really thought that and it kinda put me down when I found out the truth. sweatdrop

When Bella first heard Edwards voice in her head I was like 'what??'
I was so confused...but then slowly understood why whenever she was in some type of danger that that would happen.

I thought Edward had either been able to read her/ other people's minds at a huge distance or was actually very close by. And that either he was able to develop his power further to speak telepathically or... that his and Bella's love was so strong that she could hear her thoughts.
... My friend literally laughed out loud when she heard the second theory (she finished New Moon before I did).

I thought he was still there, that he never left, but made her think that he did. At first. Up until Jacob rescued Bella from the water. Until it said that Jacob saved her, I thought that Edward had saved her. But after she was out of the water, with Jacob, I knew that Edward REALLY left when he did. And I was certain when Alice said he was staying away from his family and stuff. I was hoping that he was there, at least. At least watching her from afar. But he wasn't. I am mad at Edward for leaving. Grr.

Well, it's no irritable grizzly. . . Yeah, I was pretty surprised to find out Bella actually was insane :/ . . . But I still kind of prefer cereal.

sweatdrop haha yeah i thought so too... but now that i think about it, it does make sense.. i mean... that goes to show just how much she truly loves him.. if that doesn't convince him... then i don't know what will! ^_^
