Well, my friend went browsing there the other day and said she found this really cute polka dot shirt. So, like, they asked her if she was Emo and she said 'No'. Then they said, "Well only Emo people can buy Polka Dots".
Isn't that the most retarded thing? On Hot Topic's part?

My other friend got kicked out of Hot Topic once because she said she didn't like sponge bob. >_>;

That s**t is why I dont shop there. Here the only people that shop there are emos, goths wouldnt be caught dead in that store.

Yeah, I suppose it's "okay" to poke fun at people for a little fun. But, to kick someone out or convince them not to buy their merch. because of it is kind of lame. >_<;

I try to stray away from hotopic.
I don't want clothes owned by Gap.

I'll go to school one day, with a Invader Zim shirt, and the day later, I see the same one, being worn by 3 different 'emo' kids at my school.
me~"Hey....yeah....hi....so where did you buy your shirt?"
1st emo~"Hot Topic"

3rd emo~"Hot Topic"

A kid in third grade came up to me last month, and asked
"Abbie, are you emo?"
and the only 'emo' thing I was wearing was my belt.
