Well I was noticing most every one here seems to have a goddess. I am a newbie here so I'm afraid I don't fully understand the need for a goddess.
Is it your innerself? how you project your most inner desire? is it where your the most calm?
I just don't quite understand. If I'm being a retard i'm sorry and I also don't want to offend any one by asking this either. I just..was curious about it.

when i first joined this guild you had to choose a goddess name for yourself 3nodding
the list of all the names is in the Under construction sticky 3nodding
i became the Goddess of Dessert blaugh on the surface simply an association with my name.
but on a deeper level i'm really the goddess of having your cake and eating it too 3nodding
about making the best of what the world has to offer you, grabbing life with both hands and making it happen!
i'm not saying i live up to it, but i certainly wish i could!
look at finding your goddess as letting out the inner you 3nodding

What Jelly said about your inner you is exactly right.
I'm the Goddess of Rain, for many reasons water has always called to me. Rain falls, so do tears, but rain gives life and hope and lets things grow, bloom, and rejuvenate. I thrive when those closest to me are doing well, and when they're not, I am distressed. The rain goes in cycles, it's part of the ocean, part of the ground, part of the plants, and part of the air and clouds. It travels, but always the familiar paths. It's diverse but is always the rain. So basically, it just felt like it fit me. ^.^

*nods* Yep! Another thing is to choose something that you love or something that represents what is important to you!
I am the Goddess of Wolves and their Brethren. I chose this title because I love canines in every shape and form! heart I also chose the title because wolves and most canines are family oriented. They are loving, protective, and family comes first to them. Family and friends are very important to me and worth any sacrafice. That's why I chose to be their Goddess. Because they represent the ideals I love...........and they're fuzzy and cute. heart blaugh sweatdrop

As for me, I chose wordweave because I use a lot of high language. I love those fancy words. Plus it works, since I love both writing and singing.You weave words to make a story, song, or whatever.
I chose earth, because I feel incredibly attached to nature.And I chose fertility Because my name is Ingrid.Ing is the Norse deity of fertility. (Ingrid was originally supposed to be a mans name, though.lol)
Fertility of all things: ideas, people and land, life in general (etc...)
These things make me me. smile

I'm not quite sure what I would be the Goddess of.
Though, as a part of my beliefs (where I believe in multiple Gods and Goddesses), I closely affiliate myself with Demeter/Ceres and Persephone. This doesn't necessarily mean that I think I am like them, but more so those are the ones I feel the closest to. It started as just liking them from stories, but then I started to feel more of a connection with them as time past.
Anyway, I will think of something that I could be the Goddess of. I'm sure it will just come to me naturally. heart
