What do you guys think is beyond the continent of Faerun? Toril is an expansive place, shaped much like Earth is today. I've always wanted to find a book that is about someone from Faerun exploring the eastern or western world. I know there is books about what is beyond it, but I'd just rather let my imagination run wild. Your thoughts?

None of thee above there are so many more people in Faerun then just them. I mean don't get me wrong I would most likely be a dwarf and a member of clan Battlehammer at that but Danilo thann is pretty cool the shadowvarr are decent but the goddess they server is to dark and to evil even for me. All I do know is I wouldn't be human and I wouldn't be a faerie.

we talked about this abit in some of the other threads, just never all at once sweatdrop

there is some information about what's beyond Faerun, but it's minamal at best
though back in secound ed. they seem to have made a box set of at least one of the other continents on Toril, like the Asain themed one East of Faerun

I'm pretty sure it's just a different campaign setting.

Does anyone here use Ebberon? I think it's the least used campaign setting. Except Dragonlance. No one uses that.

I know that Wizards it really trying to push it...
also, alot of people in the D&D club at my college used to play it, but this kind of discussion should be in the D&D forum >.>

I know that, but there's more. It's funny, looking at the map of Toril. It looks exactly like Earth. Kara-Tur is Asia, Faerun is Europe, Zakhara is Indonesia and India. Then there are Unknown Lands beyond this continent, to the west, that look just like Greenland, North America, South America. To the east there are ones that look like Antarctica and Australia.

actualy zakhara is a huge desert based on the book arabian nights (or alladin for you disney viewers sweatdrop ) but even faerun is completely erupean. amn is based on spain, and chult is african. to the west, maztika is based about old mexico/guatamala (the people are similar to the aztecs), the great glacier is based on antartica. all of the white spaces on the map have never been defined by any source ot my recolection, really giving people the opertunity to shape those continents to your will in your personal campaigns.
