Evanescence was formed by Amy Lee and Ben Moody. They meet ina summer camp and they became close friends and started Evanescence. They independently released Origin their first full length album. They later were signed onto Windup Records and released the highly successful album Fallen. In 2003 Ben Moody left Evanescence without warning leaving them without a guitarist and took away half of the writing process. He was replaced with Terry Balsamo of Cold. On October 3rd Evanescence released their 2nd official album The Open Door. What are your thought on the band. I love them, i think Origin and anything before that is pure amazingness. I love Fallen but TOD was a bit dissapointing. Without Ben they lost their heaviness that drew me too them. However Amy's voice is just so amazing that i will continue to listen to them.

Ben left the band because he wanted Evanescence to continue and if he stayed in the band, They together would drive the band into the ground. People swear, it happens. I'm not saying that its right that they swear amd Im not saying that its right that they are a secular band. But i am saying that Rocky, John, AND Amy are Christians. Poeple mess up, they do things that are immature.

I don't think we can say for sure because we don't know whats in her heart. I mean she stil could very wel be a christian or not. But one thing is for certain if she is doing these things its not good for her testimony and ppl who look at that will judge. Not condoning judgement just pointing something out.

But one thing is for certain if she is doing these things its not good for her testimony and ppl who look at that will judge. Not condoning judgement just pointing something out. She believes that she is a Christian and people mess up. So i know she's not a great person to judge Christianity by but she also has some good morals too. She doest do the "skin to win" She doesnt flaunt her body and she doesnt go into the stereotype of being super thin. Also when someone made a mean video about Britney spears using an Evanescence song, Amy got upset and made the person take it off youtube because it was mean.
