the bible is GOD's word, and anything added to it, or taken away is a load of s**t, and blasphimy at that.

Linkg the bible is GOD's word, and anything added to it, or taken away is a load of s**t, and blasphimy at that. revelations says so, on the very last quotes of the bible. I personally think the bible is the EXACT truth, how else do we follow God?

the-kick-in-the-throat [note:this is not "goth" writingand for that matter i hate goth in all its sad stupid aspects] What the hell are you going on about? I've yet to see a single sad aspect of goth.
And I for one do not believe in the entire bible. For one thing, I do not believe in much of the stuff it says in the old testament.

Umm... If you're opposed to goth, why the heck are you in this guild? confused ? But that's beside the point. Yes, the bible is truth and should be followed as the words of God. But I also agree that some things in the old testament do not apply to us; sacrifices etc. However one can always learn from Gods word no matter where it's found.
But yeesh, really. No need to go trolling on the goths. stare

Most of the Old Testament's teachings and laws have been rebuilt in the New Testament when Jesus sacrificed Himself for our access to heaven. So in reality, the Old Testament is completely accurate, only it's displaying the old ways of God's people and the hardships they had dealt with.
There are no falsities taught in the Bible. You should believe it in its entirety. Since God has told us to do so, we should uphold to that and have faith in His holy, untouchable Word.

I was going to say that, but you got there first. It is word for word what I thing about the old testamet (and so does my pator... just for the record if there is one wink ) as for the bible, well thats yeah. God's word. Sure it was writen by man, but it was inspierd by God and I don't thin he would let us put stuff in that that He didn't want.

Really it's not so much that I don't believe so much as disagree with much of its teachings and the stuff God requested of his people. And honestly, if they were 'rebuilt' as you say, why exactly do we need them now?

I have alot of conflicting feelings about the bible. On one hand, I believe that it is the word of god (well most of it). On the other hand, it was writen by man, who is not capable of perfection. Contrary to that, the writers of the bible were driven by the holly spirit. But, when the bible was put together some parts were removed.
I'm not sure what I think about the bible. The only thing I really believe is that God will lead me to the right answer.
