I know I saw Pukkii selling a few sealeds in the last few minutes xD
Ever since the release of information about 3 items in this months envelopes, prices have jumped 5k. I was vending with sealeds yesterday for 14k and selling them for 15k-ish. Now they're like 19-20k gonk
This is so fvcked up *dies* I'll never find a supplier.
DISCUSS:
Sealeds, why there should or shouldn't be 3 items in the envelopes and how AI is jacking the prices up.

I don't have a problem with 3 items on occasion. It's kind of fun but if it was normal there'd be no interest in it.
I wasn't surprised the price jumped, although I'm really wishing I had more sealeds already too. xP The announcement made more people want them at once, even though they still don't open til the 15th xDD

I agree with caustic on the fact it is okay once in a while. But Gaia being Gaia will find a holiday every month so they can release 3 items. All this does for them is bring in more money. Not a bad idea in my eyes, but not good for the Gaian"economy"

I agree with Caustic and 'Pro. I think that they should do it occasionally because if they do it every month then it will get boring. Plues the letters that already have 3 items in them will be worth more. ^^

3 items is good every once in a while.. but its a load of s**t that its up so ******** high for cost. Geez, when i started gaia 3 years ago, the letters were only worth like 1k! They're what? $2.50 IRL? the price doesn't change there and there are always millions of letters in the market.. so why dont the prices drop? They are so inflated its annoying, at least to me
Dont get me wrong, if i was a seller, i'd totally LOVE the inflation, but even then i'd still say its way to much. especially since the price will just drop to 8k give or take the next month.

Three items is good for a holiday surprise. But I don't think they should have three items every month. I think it would jack up the prices of everything. >_<;;

heres what i think about the 3 items in a letter:
Its just a bunch of bullcrap because there is mostly only 1 item that is good out of the three and its crap because they letters jump up 3-5k just for nothing xp So pretty much if anyone wanted the letters then they should just wait until the next month when the letters are down to 10-13k 3nodding

Sealed inflation isn't artificial. People get excited about having three items, therefore demand for sealeds increases and their price, naturally, increases as well. As for their rise from 1k, it has become steadily easier to make gold. Throw more money into any free economy and you will get inflation. Think of it this way, 1k in 03 was the equivalent of 10-20k today. Fairy wings were for the rich only xd ♥

I know what you mean. I've realized its not exchanger or investors or vendors that are mwssing with gaias economy its the Admins. Every time they say tehre will be three items the prices jump and stay even if the next month it goes back down to only 2 items in the letter. Its really stupid. As well as them considering releasing older Donation items through their quest system gaia would just totally ******** its economy over if they did that.

Now see, I disagree. I think that if we got a quest system up and running then it'd help lower AI. Mind you, the quests would be hard and it'd take a long time to do, but imagine it. If you could get any item you want, any item to be attainable, I think people would go after items that you could never imagine getting. And if enough people got rarer items, then I think that it'd bring the prices down.

Thats just supply and demand working there. More people want it since its special so it costs more. Anyway, I can say that investors and exchangers are worse for gaia's economy than the admins though they aren't helping to fix it either ninja

I myself agree with Belle, The quest system reward idea is perfect,BUT! sOME ITEMS I FEEL should NOT be given away in ANY contest.
