The bulk of his family disowned him, banishing him from the family's home. Such cut him deeply emotionally, and after such, he emotionally shut down to the world. The only time he ever returns to life is when his twin sister, Isis, is with him. Their relationship is something far greater than just the brother-sister relationship, and is almost sinful in origins.
