Four marks surround the fountain, one in each direction, each corresponding to one of the suits of a standard deck of cards. Civilians chatter idlely, the plaza a comfortable place to congregate. Days ago, a great pillar of light rose from the fountain, and shattered into the marbles that so many now seek.

Station >> Fountain
James and Stryphe entered from the GAIA 9 Station (Stryphe being in super stealth mode) and approached the fountain. Behind them would be following Disa and the Cerebrus they had picked up in Akea.
This seemed like a good place to take a breather, rather than running around in circles. The dog would probably appreciate a little water, and from the center of they city they should be able to get a pretty good rundown of anything big that was happening in other sections of the city.
If this was where this whole mess began, it would be pretty easy to assume some type of clue could be found around here.

James took a seat on the edge of the fountain, himself, and popped open the top of his bottle of water that he'd brought. Dogs weren't the only ones that appreciated a little bit of water now and again. A little foresight goes a long way.
He took the binoculars out of one pocket and stood up on the ledge, gazing down a few streets to get an idea of the action in the area.

Disa would merely drink from fountain if she was thirsty. Albeit a bit away from the dog. She was used to drinkint water straight from a river and that water wasn't filtered by machines like the fountain was so she was pretty sure the fountain water was cleaner than what she normally drank.

"Hmm... any ideas?"
He was straight to business when it didn't matter, and practically running from it when it did.
"Where do you think would be a good place to investigate around here? People are saying the marbles thing all got started around here, so we should be able to find something if we look."
For the hell of it, he took a glance in the fountain. People sometimes threw coins in the fountain. Maybe a marble was rolling around in there.

Disa looked up shrugging. "I know about as much as you do. It's anyone's guess as to where we should head next. We can either wait for something to happen or flip a coin to decide where to go next."

James rolled up a sleeve, reached into the fountain, and procured a coin.
"Call it."
Then he flipped the coin.

"Heads." Disa grinned as she eyed the dog with three heads next to her. Heads seemed to be lucky at the moment.

James caught the coin.
He didn't say anything about how nobody had really specified what heads meant.
(( 1 heads, 2 tails. ))

"Well, that's that."
He tossed the coin back into the fountain, wishing for luck... He wasn't sure if it worked that way, considering he'd pulled it out of the fountain in the first place, but...
They headed back to the news station. It was, after all, a place where people got information.

Oh Jesus, Susan... it looks like somebody had jacked a helicopter from the news station and - wouldn't you know it... it was coming down near the fountain to pick up a few people before heading out.

"Everybody in, we're leaving~!" James shouted over the roar of the engine and the rush of wind around them. He got down to the ground and slid open the side door, waiting for them all to jump in before he lifted off again.
It was time to make up some lost ground.
