The lights dim as the sound of footsteps is heard. On the titantron, a man is seen walking towards the camera in perfect darkness, only a sole light shining on him. He walks over to the camera before smirking. "If you truly think you know me, you ain't seen nothing yet..."
The Symphony of Destruction plays as pyro shoots out from the ramp and ring posts. Nightmare slowly steps out, looking around and smirking just a tiny bit. As he keeps looking around, a mixed reaction comes from the audience. He shrugs it off and dashes towards the ring, rolling in and flipping onto his feet, HBK style. After a moment of walking around, letting the nostalgia hit him, he smiles, walking over to the mic person and grabbing a mic. He waits for the crowd to quiet down.
"Wow, never thought I'd get that kind of reaction when I returned....It's cool really..." He smiles, cracking his neck before looking at the titantron, at himself. "So many things have changed about me, and I'm not the old rookie that I used to be. I'm now more improved, even better than I was before." He smirks, looking at the camera. "And much better looking too."
He lets the crowd react in mixed ways before his eyes return to the ramp. "Look, I'm here for one reason. I want my match, so if ANY of you guys back there want a piece of me, I suggest you come out now."

It Ends Here Tonight.
The lights flash golden, red, and gray on the stage as Kelly King 2.0, back from his sebbatical, comes out onto the stage with a microphone. He looks at the fans, who seem to boo him instinctively, remembering his former antics with tag team partner Simon Dean. He shrugs them off, not doing his usual stage entrance, walking down to the ring and sliding in.
He looks at Nightmare and nods. "Nightmare. I'm 2.0. You don't know me, but I know a little bit about you."

Nightmare raised a small eyebrow before shrugging. "Funny, I don't seem to remember you, though I'd love to hear what you have to say."

"See, I was in a federation a while ago, and I remember hearing a lot about you. I remember hearing some people backstage talking about you in your old tag team days with a kid named Navil McCloud." He said to Nightmare with a smirk. "And I remember hearing that you two were pretty successful in that federation as a tag team, and hearing about you're return could only get me excited. Why?" King asked the hypothetical question.
"Because I wanted to beat you, and prove my skill over some of the best. Sorry to say, you're the first I have to prove it to."

Nightmare smiles softly, closing his eyes. "Ah, Navil, the kid with too much time on his hands..." He shrugged a bit before looking King dead in the eyes before extending his hand out. "Very well then, I accept your challenge. You name the match, and I'll have it done swiftly."

"Oh no. We fight on YOUR terms. I have to prove exactly how well I can adapt." King said, taking Nightmare's grasp firmly, a cocky smirk on his face as he showed his teeth.

Nightmare raised an eyebrow quickly, looking over King for a moment. "You know, I love singles matches, but they're not my strong suit. I want to fight you in a hardcore match." He smirks, wondering if King'll back down.

"Trust me, with my history, Hardcore is not a new subject. I hope you realize what you're getting yourself into?" King said, using momentum from his past fueds as a back up to his cocky personality. He tried to psyche out Nightmare, knowing that it wasn't very likely to happen.

Nightmare laughed, shaking his head for a second, looking over at King. "I'll let you get into your ring attire, and I'll meet you in the ring." He smirked, hardcore matches being one of his dominant styles. His ability to Improvise was what kept him up and coming in the matches.
