I hate those shows, but watching people who can't sing is always pretty awesome.
In fact I really ******** hate those shows. I think it truely shows that the end of the music industry is near. The whole industry has been dominated by rich white men and all their money, once an artist signs that contract, they have sold their soul to the devil. I don't care if someone is so talented that they can s**t symphony's on que, you've made your choice, you're sucking the devils c**k.
What would be a much better show would be Songwriter Idol, but the masses seem to be afraid of actual talent.

Shows like that killed pop music.
Or at least put an extra bullet in its twitching corpse.
The winners of these talent contests don't have any longevity. They won't sell any back records in years to come. What they produce is soulless nonsense. The record companies suffer in the long run, we suffer in the short term, and goddammit I want the sixties to come back so we can have decent pop music again.

Recent efforts have barely lasted 2 singles. A 60's revival would be so rad. We need more ugly people making music. And Grace Slick heart
