Tammy's next book in the Provost's Dog series is supposed to come out this year!!!! I don't have any spacifics, but I've heard from a few good sources that it's to come out this year. It's gonna be called Bloodhound. I seriously LOVED Terrier, so I can't wait for this one. Beka is one of my favorite characters. It's showing the law from the eyes of a Commoner, not a noble. And I like it. Kinda shows what George was dealing with. And you must admit, she's an AWESOME character. I wish I had her eyes. I was espically pleased to hear about 'The Cat'. I love him. heart But does anyone know, or have a guess, as to what month the next book might come out? confused

Oh, it's nice and LONG. Well, sort of long. About 563 pages hardcover. Really nice compared to her others. I just hope Bloodhound is as long!

Sadly, BloodHound isn't coming out until next year according to Tamora Pierce. She says it's because of her back injuries from her car accident, which is totally understandable.

If you go to Tamora Pierce's official website the next book does not come out until 2008. The only things coming out this year are Terrier in paperback and a circle book but nothing new in tortall.

Just checked her website and Bloodhound is supposed to come out next year (2009) in spring. The only ones coming out this year are Melting Stones and (copied from website) "an untitled Circle universe book, set in the months after STREET MAGIC, in which Briar, Rosethorn, and Evvy continue their journey eastward to distant Yanjing, where they discover a danger that threatens the home temple of the Living Circle religion."

MerlinAnne yeah it was awesome, but you're wrong about it being her first commoner, you may remember that Daine was also a commoner... It was awesome. *nods* Daine, was a commoner, but her father was a lesser god. Just thought I would point that out.
