So I was sitting here, in the middle of cruising through my Mega Man Anniversary Collection disc for Gamecube, and the phrase "I'm keeping the gamer girl spirit alive!" kept popping into my head for some odd reason. (Meh, I'm weird when I'm home alone.) And then it hit me: Why not display my gamer pride? And then even better yet hit me: why don't ALL of us girl gamers display our gamer pride?? But how, you may ask. Well, first we'd have to come up with a set uniform item we'd each use. So, I had a few ideas:

T-shirts. Now, just because we're all girls here doesn't necessarily mean all of us are into the whole pink thing. (I know I'm sure not.) So, shouldn't necessarily mean pink shirts, but....perhaps a set design that could be made into iron on tranfers that anyone who wants one could print out and iron onto a shirt or sweatshirt of their choice? Sounds cool to me smile

Or, there's wristbands/bracelets, which could have a few different approaches taken to them. There could be a set color or colors and have them be made woven like friendship bracelets are into a set pattern, or even beaded. Letter beads sound kind of lame, but just pretty beads of a set color or colors that the guild could be represented by.... I think it could be a cool idea smile And if it caught on, perhaps necklaces and/or earrings could even be added to the mix!

I dunno, I'm feeling creative tonight and just feel like making stuff xd Still, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts nonetheless!

I personally can't wear earrings either (my ears have been pierced twice, but I've had to let them close up both times since no matter what kind of metal the earrings are, they always irritate my ears), but it always seems like pretty much everybody else can. If clip on earrings would stay ON better, those might be an alternative option. Have to find ones that don't just slide right off, and aren't so tight that they hurt.

Any of these would be totally awesome. smile I'm always looking for good ways to show my pride in being a total geek, and any article of clothing or jewelry that would display my gamer pride would be worn religiously by me. ^^

Oh, any kind of shirt would be great, or those cute li'l band bracelets that would say "Gamer Girl" or something like that. Nothing too cheesy or too girly, but... hmm. Humor is always good.

I'll give it a bit more thought and see if I come up with anything less vague. ^^;; Sorry about that.

Go here.

Here they have awesome jewelery; resistor earrings are my personal favourite. They also have tonnes of awesome gaming shirts.

I have the "-1 STR/ +1 CHA" t-shirt. That gets me lots of looks and smiles from people who also play videogames. I also have the "Heavy Metal" t-shirt, which lists most of the heavy metal elements from the periodic table, but that's more because I'm a serious science nerd. And I got "Guns don't kill people, Kids who play videogames kill people" because it's awesome too xD.

I am totaly up for wristbands. that way I could wear it all the time! and not have to wear it only once a week because I had to wash the shirt.

Heh, I'm in silkscreening so I actually could make myself a logo. I think maybe I shall...
After I'm done my current assignments.

I think we should make a logo and have the genericness be in the logo itself as opposed to in the colour. And have it be an iron-on, and very simple, so that we can tag any piece of clothing, whether it be a tshirt or bandana or jeans. And if it's simple, we can make earrings, or draw pictures, or make sigs out of them.

Consider also a poster: rasturbator.com.

This is a really good idea!
I like the fact that us girls can FINALLY show that we aren't all preppy and have enough backbone to play some REAL video games!

I have a Soul Cal 3 shirt, a shirt with 'My life for the Horde' on it with a red horde symbol on the shoulder, and another shirt with 'Everything I ever needed to know I learned from gaming' on it, plus a pin on my purse with the Horde logo and 'Horde' on it.
If people cant figure out I'm a gamer, maybe they need glasses :3
