What's your favorite cooking show? I for one have quite a few faves myself. I love Paula Deen's Home cooking and 30 minute meals. I like Sugar Rush, The Secert life of... , Old school Iron Chef(I lthink the american iron chef is ok but I don't like it) , and too many shows to list.

'Tis, but you never know, where they may be hiding... ninja ninja ninja As for myself, I like Dotch! Cooking Showdown(a combination of cooking, and game show presentation, from Japan). In that one, rival chefs, spend the length of the show, trying to convince the panel that their dish(you've gotta choose, from 2) is the one you wanna eat, showing where the special ingredient comes from, how rare, or how tasty it is, and what restaurants serve it. At the end, whoever is the majority vote, is the one that gets to eat, while the minority is forced to sit there, and watch(and since they tape the show over an 8 hour period, their on camera hunger is very much genuine)

I heart Food Network.
I'm a big sucker for Emeril Live, though. Don't know why. Usually I don't even like the food he makes, but I still watch it.
Good Eats is always excellent.
I miss old school Iron Chef! They only have it on like once a week at 4am- darn it!

I love Good Eats because it's just so...odd. XD
My other favorite is Barefoot Contessa, because Ina is almost always making something I'd be likely to eat.

Paula Deen, Good Eats, and Iron Chef (both). I used to be into emeril but then I realized he is extremely annoying. Plus its always the same genre of food with that guy....

I will watch Julie Child reruns forever! She's so funny and her stories about serving the dish she is preparing are great. She made a big difference in American cooking.
The other show I watch is The Cooking Cajun, with ... Jason?? something. It's a great difference in style that's often welcome.
Oh and there is the Outdoor Cooking show (I think that's what it's called, it's on RFD). Almost all the dishes on this show are prepared in cast iron and cooked over an open fire or coals. Adusting the fire just right for the particular dish is an art, and the guest cooks are interesting too.

Used to Love watching Julia Child and Jeff Smith (the Frugal Gourmet) They were classic.
Now, I like Emeril (not the live show the taped one where he is less of a showman)
Paula Deen is just good old fashioned cooking and Barefoot Contessa. Also used to love the old Iron Chef (not the america one)
