Ok, so this is really just for fun. Has anyone here ever thought about fictional characters (whose signs are not actually known as part of the work of fiction) and tried to work out what sign they might be?
And, alternatively, if the characters' signs are known, do you agree with them, and why/why not?

Oh man, I do that all the time. For example,. I'm absolutely convinced that Blanche from the Golden Girls is a Libra, while Rose is a Cancer. Dorothy may be a Leo/Capricorn. From other series, Yosemite Sam is an Aries, and Foghorn Leghorn is a Leo.

midara the happy banshee Oh man, I do that all the time. For example,. I'm absolutely convinced that Blanche from the Golden Girls is a Libra, while Rose is a Caner. Dorothy may be a Leo/Capricorn. From other series, Yosemite Sam is an Aries, and Foghorn Leghorn is a Leo. I'm not familiar with the first series you mentioned, and I can't say I've ever tried to apply astrology to the second! Now that you mention it, though, I'm inclined to agree on those two.

I've always played this little game with myself! Usually I find that characters that has a birthdate (mentioned in the story) usually exhibits characteristics of their sun sign (after all, they never ever mention the time, not that I can remember).
One example that I will always remember until now was this Leo girl in 'The Poisionwood Bible'. Anyone read that book before?

I do this all the time... sweatdrop when reading and watching series.
Harry Potter is a leo and Hermione is a virgo. I definately agree with both. Ron is a pisces. o_0 It makes sense but I'm a pisces and Ron kinda bugs me... lol
Currently I've been watching a series called The L Word. No one probably knows that show, though. but I like thinking about what their signs are. ^_^;;

Anyone here familiar with fullmetal alchemist?
If so, what do you think of the following suggestions:
Ed - scorpio with aries influence
Al - libra with cancer and taurus influence
Mustang - absolute leo
Hawkeye - capricorn
Hughes - aquarius/sagittarius, some cancer influence
Winry - aries

Magic Knight Rayearth.
Hikaru, a leo? She's the farthest thing from a leo I've ever seen! Fuu couldn't be a Sagittarius if she tried and Umi will never be a pisces! All their signs are mixed up with their personalities. It's so annoying! >.<

I think that they mention Marge's birthday is in may at one point... but I'm not sure. It was in one of the newer episodes, and I think they have different writers.

Yeah but they have no characteristics. Not even a trace. Their signs were chosen solely on the element. I don't think CLAMP put much effort into making them believable.
