Have any of you guys heard of them? They have five members, all on brass, as the name implies. I think they have six different instruments for all the members. The people on the trumpets have three different kinds. This is their website. Most of the members are from Canada. When I saw them in my school's theater, and I thought they were awesome. They played a bossa nova, and I liked it a lot. They play a lot of adapted music, and sometimes comission pieces to be made. I think I might buy their CD.

I've played their music before, and I've been to one of their concerts. The pieces are fairly well written, sounds better if you change a few of the notes, however, overall they sound pretty good, in my limited opinion.
By the way, the ensemble type is a brass quintet.

i'd have to hear them before i voiced an opinion, but i'm guessing that they are good
afterall, five brass players is hot as it is right? lol mrgreen
