Available Apprenticeships If you are classified to give an Apprenticeship, please type up your posting in the format you see below within the thread, and it will be added to the front page until it is filled. Example arrow Technomagus ~Maker and Seller of Technorings~ Class: 2 Availability: High Requirements: Stage One. An extensive knowledge of Technorings, Crafting, science is a must. Interest in Techno-equips desired. Good-natured, dedicated personality appropriate. Mentor: Metro Wage: 3 Lunes per interactive post with customers or Metro. 1 Lune per monologue post. Bonuses for completed Technorings. In this example, you see the name of the career: Technomagus, followed by a short description of what the job entails. The Class rating tells you which work bracket the career falls under. The Availability is the level of playing activity the job requires. The Requirements are skills and knowledge the Empyrean must possess to adequately fill the job. Mentor states who will be teaching the Empyrean. Wage tells you how much you'll be earning.
If an job has an arrow next to it, it means it is still open for application. If it has an exclaim next to it, it means it has been filled. If there is already a player filling a career and the arrow still is up, it means there is more than one of that position open.

An ability to colour without a template, including a practised concept of lighting/shadow, ability to follow samples such as the Plsuhies for colour cues. While there is a limited amount of official line art now, other things like items, special event limiteds and Cicus pets may also be passed on for colouring. Mentor: Raelyn Wage: 5 Sol for every completed NPC and an additional 2 Lunes for other types of colouring, as well as an additional Lune for every new reference borrowed from the Library on the subject of Art.

Interest in Science desired. Looking for a fastidious and details-oriented individual willing and ready to do things by the book, and get them done right. Mentor: Euphrasia Wage: 1 Sol per completed Potion and a percentage of worth of items sold. 1 Lune for each interactive RP posts with customers.
arrow Auditor ~Maintains Shop Inventories~ Class: 3 Availability: High Requirements: Stage Two+. The Auditor's job is to on the First of Every Month go through the Shops (in the event of many Auditors, an Auditor may be assigned to a specific Shop) to restock the inventory. It is also their responsibility to make sure that after purchases, stock is adjusted appropriately. Previous position of Page not required, but preferred. Stage Three+ Options
arrow Druid ~Creates magic through manipulation of plant breeds, creating new medicines~ Class: 3 Availability: Medium Requirements: Stage Three+. An extensive knowledge of Botany, Astronomy, Cooking, and Science (specifically Anatomy and Medicine). The Druids will spend a decent amount of time in the northern woods beyond the Green Gate, and should be familiar with the monsters of that area, and ways to defend oneself. There they will conduct research on plant varieties, and create new antidotes, medicines and cultivate new Hybrids. Druidic Magic can become a specialty that can be taught to any disciple taken. Applicants must have held the position of Seed Splitter or Bontanist for at least 3 months prior to application. Mentor: Quenda Wage: 4 Lune Credits per RP post. Bonus of 1 Sol per new Medicine discovered.
arrow Bard ~Creates magic through manipulation of song and music~ Class: 3 Availability: Medium Requirements: Stage Three+. An extensive knowledge of Music, Magical Theory, Rhetoric, and Literature. Prospective Bards must be able to play at least two instruments - one of which may be the Voice. Bardic Magic can be used as a short cut to otherwise long and tediously involved Ritual or Tribal Magics (but can be applied to any form of Magic casting) that allow them to be cast quickly and with a multitude of effect and control. It can become a specialty that can be taught to any disciple taken. Applicants must have held the position of Conductor for at least 3 months prior to application, during which time, they must have organized at least one presentation. Mentor: Nehna Wage: 6 Lune Credits per RP post.
arrow Hunter ~Hunts down and kills/captures Monsters~ Class: 3 Availability: Medium-High Requirements: Stage Three+. An extensive knowledge of Animal Training (Especially Monsters), protective magics and measures, Sparring, and Medicine (specifically antidotes and first aid care). Hunters prowl the cities and hunt down Monsters, loose pets, Spies and other supernatural dangers. Applicants must have a sparring record of at least 2 wins. All spoils gained in Hunting must be reported to The Temple. If a Hunter would like to keep any of the spoils he or she claims - either for himself or to give to a commrade - he or she must first check with Sable. Mentor: Sable Wage: Bonus for selling back Monsters/others captured or killed in the Hunt. Please see Monster worth in the Temple charts. 1 Lune Credit for Every RP Post.
arrow Prophet ~Provides Services in The Dreaming Pool~ Class: 3 Availability: Medium-High Requirements: Stage Three+. An extensive knowledge of Philosophy, Astronomy, Mathematics, and Fortune Telling (specifically those forms used in The Dreaming Pool). Prophets will be given permission to take on requests for Fortunes of their own, and perform Readings for Empyreans in The Dreaming Pool. Applicants must have trained directly under Ardys for a minimum of 3 months prior to Application and have given at least two kinds of readings successfully. Mentor: Ardys Wage: 4 Lune Credits per RP post. Bonus of Reading Fees for any offers accepted from other Empyreans.
arrow Inventor ~Creates custom Items/Weapons/Accessories~ Class: 3 Availability: High Requirements: Stage Three+. An extensive knowledge of Crafting, Science, Cooking, and Art required. Inventors are those with artistic/graphics skills that can be used to draw and/or colour custom items. If accepted for this Career, the Applicant has the choice of either working in Gregor or Metro's shop, or opening their own mini shop for a specific type of item. Applicants must have undergone a Training session with both Metro (1 month) and Gregor (2 months). Samples of work need to be submitted with Application. Mentor: Gregor and Metro Wage: 10 Sol Credits per new Item created; this item may be resold to other Empyrs for a suitable price by the Inventor in their shop or the Shop they work in. 1 Lune Credit per RP Post.
arrow Wizard ~Creates custom Spellwork~ Class: 3 Availability: High Requirements: Stage Three+. An extensive knowledge of Magical Theory, Philosophy, Literature, and Rhetoric required. Wizards are so versed in the ways of magic, that they can actually create their own spells. Wizards keep a Tome of their own, which they need to name, such as Pandora Set. This new Set of Spells can be learned under apprenticeship, and the creation of such spells is RP Heavy required. In order to apply for this position, extensive knowledge of Empyreans Magics systems and Metaplot are required. Mentor: Bellona and Abrid. Wage: 5 Sol Credits per new Spell created; this spell may be taught to other Empyrean disciples only after approval for use by a Moderator. The Wizard may be granted a Studio in which to train others. 1 Lune Credit per RP Post.
arrow Alchemist ~Makes Potions, and works on developing Substitutions and new Potions~ Class: 3 Availability: Medium Requirements: Stage Three+. An extensive knowledge of Alchemy, Magic, Rhetoric, Math, Science is a must. Previous experience as Alchemist's Apprentice required. Full understanding of Substitution and Styles required. The Alchemist is one who takes official potions recipees and finds similar augmenting ingredients, and determines through experimentation how these affect the potion in its finished state. Sometimes in this process of experimentation, they discover new potions. Mentor: Tryna Wage: 4 Lunes per RP post. 1 Sol per finished list of Substitutions for one Recipee. These will be posted in Euphrasia's Shop, or in an Alchemist's personal Workshop. Bonuses for new potions discovered (consult a Game Manager).
arrow Seneschal ~Patrol the Streets~ Class: 3 Availability: High Requirements: Stage Three+. An extensive knowledge of Law, Sparring, History, and Rhetoric (specifically Channeling). Seneschals will be in charge of Patrolling the streets. They will be assigned a specific District of the City where they will have Grigori-style jurisdiction to enforce the law, tag Monsters for Hunters and apprehend suspects. Applicants must have a Sparring record of at least 3 wins. Duellist experience preferred. Skills in Magical Theory and Animal Training not required, but preferred. Mentor: Bardane Wage: 1 Sol Credit per intervention. 1 Lune Credit per RP Post.
arrow Substitute Teacher ~Holds Make Up Lessons and Fills in when official Teachers are unable to attend class~ Class: 3 Availability: Very High Requirements: Stage Three+. An extensive knowledge of class Material is a must. Literature Required, as well as proficiency in at least three classes. These individuals will be responsible for filling in for Professors when they are unable to make their own classes - either due to war, injury or other. They will also have the opportunity to work in the Teacher's Lounge holding Make Up lessons or they will be assigned their own Room in which to conduct lessons. Credit ValuabilityThere are three different levels of careers in the Empyrean City, Class 1, 2 and 3.
Class 1 careers pay 1 to 6 Base Credits per RP post done in their shop/thread. These have the lowest requirement of skill, and are the most common. They have low traffic expectations, but if the shop proves very profitable to the city, the wage may be raised.
Class 2 careers pay 7 Base Credits up to 10 Lunes per RP post done in their shop/thread. These have medium skill requirements, but higher frequency and traffic levels. Class 2 workers ay be eligible for giving Apprenticeships themselves, and earning further Credits that way.
Class 3 careers pay a minimum of 1 Sol per RP post done in their shop/thread. These require advanced skills of the Empyrean's Family, such as cert making, colourist skills, record keeping, editing proficiency or management skills. These careers require an extremely high availability rate, and tend to have a high traffic level. These careers afford certain benefits, such as Eligibility for extras or rare items/slots.

Credit ExchangeThere are three types of Credits, just to make it easier for you to keep track of your credits.
Base Credits are worth 1 Credit, and are often simply called credits. Many components are worth Base Credits, and many careers pay in Base Credits.
Lune Credits are worth 10 Base credits. Lunes can be traded for here at the Credit Exchange to keep your pocket change light. Fewer careers pay in Lunes, but many good items in the shops cost lues, so save up!
Sol Credits are worth 100 Base Credits, or 10 Lunes. Sols can be traded for to get bigger ticket items, and some items can only be paid for in Sols, so you'll need to exchange your Credits to the right type. A very few careers pay in Sols, however, the most rare and powerful shop items are worth Sols, so please work hard and don't get too disheartened.
There is no fee for exchanging credits.

Passes out of the City
Red Gate Pass: Red gate Passes are required when the Empyrean wishes to go Hunting, collecting Husks, Fighting Outsiders etc.
Blue Gate Pass: Blue Gate Passes are requred when the Empyrean wants to go fishing, collecting alchemical components, on seance or trance journies etc.
Green Gate Pass: Green Gate Passes are required when the Empyrean wishes to go fight monsters, collect Cicus Pets, animal samples for Hybrids, seeds for botany etc.
Black Gate Pass: Black Gate Passes are required when the Empyrean wishes to commune with ghosts, collect evidence or wreckage from the Outsiders, collect Golem Shards or Abberation Stones, divine information etc.

Husk Collecting"When an Empyrean becomes Stage Three, they gain the right to go and collect a Husk to rear as their own. They do not need a lover to collect one, and indeed each member of a romantic unit may collect their own Husks which may be converted into Empyreans and raised singly or as a group effort."
So say th' books. But here's how it works. Ya apply here to see if yer eligible for a Husk. I go ask the Metatrons fer ya. If yer not approved, wait a while and then ask again if yer still interested. If y'are approved, then ya purchase a Gate Pass. Please select the Gate that corresponds with the Alignment ya wish to fuse to yer Husk to make it into a suitable Empyrean. Then ya'll head out into the Outside World to RP finding yer Husk, and bringin it home. Once ya gotcher Husk, come back here n I'll take it to the Metatrons to have it fused.
