DRAGONSPACE MMXVI -- FACTIONS
There are many factions vying for power throughout the universe-as-we-know-it. As like any decent Science-Fantasy spoof, there has to be some obvious Good side, and an obvious Evil counterpart. In between are various shades of evil that the good guys must either conquer, rape, pillage, or destroy in a non-evil manner.
JAHOVIAN COUNCIL
The Jahovian Council is the title given to those in office within the Grand Republic for all worlds in the Slightly-Inner-but-not-Quite Rim (SIBNQ Rim). As the main house of power is indeed based on Jahovia III, this planet is considered the Home State and most electorial candidates actually study within the prestidigious Presidential Universities.
The main leading President of the Jahovian Republic is also the current ruler of Jahovia III itself : Jahoclave the Mighty. It is unknown whether Jahoclave is actually a good leader for the Republic, or if he's using the position as a way in revolution towards a Single-Party Universal State. His approval ratings are still - surprisingly - 100%, though.
Most people believe it is because Jahoclave has banned all forms of voting.
THE GREAT ANDRO-TOBORITARY EMPIRE
The Andro-Tobor are all united underneath a single banner. Youngling Tobor are born into the faction, and they all pledge allegiance to one dictator: the militant General Derelict Suienheimer von Necroluster.
Incredibly warlike, the Andro-Tobor are a nomadic people who, although maintaining a permanent base of operations on their homeworld Bleepblorp 111, tend to spread their population (which grows at one of the fastest rates in the universe, thanks to Tobor advances in mechanised buildiforming. They do so by ravaging their proposed colony through constant bombarment, and then buildiform the planet into a replica of Bleepblorp 111. Currently, the Tobor pursue the Vorpal Dirk of Eternal Felines for unknown reasons. It can only be assumed that these reasons must be classified under the EVIL category.
THE HUMAN FEDERATION
The Federation is an old faction that stems back from the early 70's, when Star Trek came to televisions. Ever since, NASA adopted the name shortly after taking the first starship to space. It is the primary faction of humans, and is required for all Earthling humans. Humans born on other planets may choose to be Federation.
There is no actual government to the Federation as it is simply a huge party dedicated to the exploration of the far reaches of the universe. Currently, the Federation is controlled by one Supreme Commander Neil Williamson. It is they who control the Dirk of Eternal Felines, and pursue the knowledge as to its original creation.
