I was planning on opening recruitment back up, say, tomorrow. However, not that the aliens have landed... again...
It may not be the best time. What are your thoughts, crew members?

Now might not be the best time, but if we do need to reopen recruitment, then we can.
Let's figure a little more stuff out before we reopen recruitment.
I find it interesting that they landed on the Great Wall of Gambino, though. Something is definately going on with those two.

I'd have to agree with Agent MD. We haven't gotten everything back together yet, our original members aren't yet cleaned out... I'm not sure if we can handle more members yet.

I'm kinda torn on this. On one hand we still need to finish cleaning up our original members, on the other hand if we don't reopen soon we'll going to face serious charges of elitism. Especially if there is a Thanksgiving event involving the aliens.
I have to say I really didn't expect them to return so soon...

Neither did I, but if this event doesn't finish by Thanksgiving, we're bound to have it run into Christmas too.
That'll be one long plot update.
I think we can finish cleaning up members by tomorrow and then we might be able to slowly reopen recruitment.
Perhaps let in a certain amount of agents a day.

That seems fairly reasonable, MD. And according to the url for the ships, they are for Xmas. I'm not sure I can take the pressure. gonk
I guess now's a good time to point out that I'll be MIA immediately following Christmas for a week and a half. confused

I hate to say this! But I will be gone from the 18th to 26th gonk
Family outing and all. My grandmother has a computer but very slow, so I might sneak in sometimes... but if you open up requests I wont be able to help. crying
I always miss the thanksgiving and Christmas plots...

Like I said I will be gone for a week next week, but I think letting some members are ok...
But we don't want a huge down pour of people wanting in just because UFOs showed up again. So maybe only have member recruitment up for a week or so? Then again before the Christmas event we can open it up for another week or so?

I think we can take a smallish influx of people now. This is probably a good time since people are still thinking about the aliens a little, but haven't gotten all pysched up for Christmas. Lets put a cap on the number of people we invite for now, see how they integrate in, and then go from there. Maybe once we start getting requests, people can indicate the applicants they're considering in this (or another) thread so we don't duplicate efforts?
