I had indoor drumline at my high school. I played tenors. That was the most fun that i ever had playing tenors. We rocked so hardcore. The beginning of our show my senior year we did a kind of jungle like piece with body percussion. I was one of the 4 body percussionists to go to the front of the stage for a solo. That was awesome. The end of our show that year we did a little Michael Jackson medley with Thriller and beat it. For Thriller the drumline dressed up like zombies, and we did the dance from the music video while the pit played on mallet instruments. We had dry ice making fog, and we had it rolling of the stage complete with black lights and strobes. It was one night I will never forget.

I did Indoor my freshman year, we did a hurricane show since we had just been hit by like four hurricanes. It was cool, the tarp that we laid was a fema tarp. Almost brok my back last year in that show. But this year, since we are going to london, our director says NO INDOOR DRUMLINE, OR GUARD!!!
WHAT!!!!!!!!!
This sucks, this london trip is sapping everything out of me. But we get to lead the london newyears day parade, pretty cool though.

My schools doing indoor for hte second time this year... We're alll SOOOO excited cause our show is an origional composition by our Drum instructor and pit instructor... it's SOOO amazing... it's called masque of the red death, and of course, it's based on the short story written by Edger Allen Poe. We are going to be sooo kick a**... We've already started reharsing and it sounds decent so far... Good luck to any lines doing it this year... it's amazingly fun.

My life currently consists of Indoor Drumline. I play second Marimba, which is so much fun, except for the runs I can't play, and 50% of our show is four mallets in both marimbas.
I'm co-section leader with a freshman, but this is the second year both of us have done this, and he's a far better percussionist than I am, seeing as how I've played mallets for three marching band seasons and almost two Winterline seasons. He rocks at all things percussion, so I don't mind.
Our show rocks this year, but is a little on the hard side. The guy that writes our music is absolutely crazy, but last year's show was harder.
Winter Drumline is fun, yes?

Well we have Winter Percussion...I guess that's the same thing, but we don't call it indoor. Anywho, I'm in my school's for the second year. Last year was our first year of competition in the winter season. I'm in pit again this year...only been playing mallets for a year or so, but i'm section leader right now hehe..go figure!
We're doing music by Thomas Newman. He composed the music for movies like Fun With d**k and Jane, Finding Nemo, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and Pay it forward, which is what our music is based off of.
