..when your marching, you get to run them over xd .
Some girl told me it was true. So, have you ever run over someone for being in your way or seen or known someone do it?

Actually it is very true! If you walk around them, you get docked points! My Friend Was Marching Bass Clarinet one year and he was facing back field. the DM signaled an about face while a judge was kneeling next to the clarinet checking his feet with everyone else's. My friend warned him but he didn't move. The DM signaled the About Face and My friend Swiveled around and smacked the guy in the face with the bell of his bass Clarinet! OMG! How Funny.
But Yeah. They do have rules about it now. If someone is in your way you need to say something if you are not playing. A judge actually got his face cut up because a Cymbal player hit him without warning. If you don't warn them you can get in serious trouble. But don't stop playing if you are. If they can't hear an instrument line coming up behind them then its thier fault and they shouldn't be judging. Lol
Hope that helps

We march through anything in our way no matter how old or how young. We don't give a warning and we don't need to. People around where I live know how our band is and we will run over anyone. lol. pirate

Same goes for cameramen. At a game there was one on the front side that clearly saw me coming toward him and almost got trampled. I hate cameramen for that reason. evil

Our whole drumline almost ran over a judge last year. We were in three circles that were closing in on each other, and he got stuck in the middle of the center circle. He had to wait until the second movement started to get out.

oh yeah thats a big rule with us. if someone or something's in your way, dont be afraid to walk all over them. especially if someone tries to break ranks, then you better shove them out of the way!
with judges, my friend said that they're pretty good at getting out of the way. she said that last year, they were making a circle and the judge got stuck in it, so he had to duck out under someone.

my BD says: if the judges get in your way, run 'em over! but not too hard because they score you. I want a high not low score because you ran them over.

hah, yeh its sorta fun to run over people, but unfortunately everyone else always seems to run me over neutral . and i'm not even in their way. mostly its because they dont really know where their set is and they follow me, marching backwards, and taking uselessly huge steps. stupid fish mad ... i'm glad i punched him in his back after pushing me down so many times and stepping on my flute...
sucks though when a guard member is in your way because if you try to run them over or carefully go around even you will most likely get decked by their flag first. exclaim eek exclaim NUUU!! *pop*...

oh man, I was at competition last year(since we didn't have it this year) and this flag player fell down and I had remembered, run 'em over if they're in ur way....too bad I tripped over her and me and my trombone ended up going to the med ward(or ambulance) poor poor trombone landed on her spikey-ish flag(wied a** show) I landed on it too. I had holes in my leg.......so remember make sure you know how to step over then(or murder them whichever you choose)
