If you would like to roleplay battles specifically, this is the topic for you! Here you'll find all the information and rules regarding Battle Specific Zoid Role Plays.

Mission Statement

The Zoids Connection Battle (ZCB) is set up specifically for those interested in duking it out in Zoids Battles! For the time being there are a few catches with this:

You are not required to have a judge - However, if you'd like one, please contact pointytilly. She's had experience judging battles. So please, please play fairly. If we have to come in and shake a stick around, there will be trouble.

There is no official point system - This is not an extensive RP. There's no money, no points for wins or whatever. If you want to personally keep track of your Win/Loss/Draw records, go ahead!

If you want to through in some bits of character development, go ahead. Well developed characters are always a plus! Just keep in mind there's no set storyline.

If you have any questions, please address them in this thread!

II. Rules

These are the basic rules for the ZCB RP. Any problems or unclarities will result in the addition of new rules.

1. All threads relating to the Zoids Connection Battle RP should have "ZCB" written in the topic. Thank you.

2. Be Courteous - Do not insult or flame your opponent. The roleplay is for the enjoyment of both of everyone. Being mean, even if you think the other person deserves it, spoils that.

3. No Killing - These are battles for fun and are not to be serious. No killing others, it's not nice.

4. Please Don't Godmode - There will be no "one-hit-kills". Accept your losses. If you seem to be unfairly winning all of the time, something is wrong and may result in a good stick shaking in your general direction.

5. If you feel anyone is violating these rules, please PM me instead of trying to deal with the situation yourself. Thank you.

IV. Banned Zoids

Do NOT Use These! They are too doomy.

King Gojulas
Death Saurer
Death Stinger
Gilvader/Gildragon
Gungyarado(s)
Ultrasaurus
Mad Thunder
Seismosaurus
Gojulas the Ogre
Salamander F2

also

Deathcat's stock "gravity cannon in a can" gun. It must be replaced with something that doesn't pretend it's a black hole (beam cannon, railgun, etc.). Thank you.

V. Custom Parts

Stuff you can attach to your Zoid.
Written up by pointytilly.

CP-01 Beam Cannon Set
Big guns for Shield Liger. Fire beams, and they replace the missile thingies, which instead go on its rear. Can be fired on its back or folded down.

CP-02 Assault Unit
Thrusters/wingy things/missile pod and a few assorted guns for Saber Tiger. Like the Three Guards' Tigers. You can't fly, just jump farther.

CP-03 Beam Gatling Set
Big beam gatling for Red Horn, Saber Tiger, Iron Kong. Shoots lots of beam shots really fast. And spins. Yay spinny.

CP-04 Attack Unit
The big twin gun thing as seen on Brad's Command Wolf, for Command Wolf and most decent-size Zoids with a spare peg on their backs (tons!). Fires large-bore beam shots of hurty, and in Command Wolf's case, adds boosters to the hind legs.

CP-05 Large-Bore Beam Cannon
What it says on the tin. Mostly used by Cannon Tortoise. Fires...well, really big beams and slows you down more.

CP-06 Bomber Unit
Rocketymissile things for Pteras! Like Jamie's. You can also stick half of the set's worth on Command Wolf (in place of the front should armor) or on Double Sworder.

CP-07 Cannonry Unit
A big gun that fires...beams? Shells? Who knows, they hurt when they hit you. Mostly for Molga and Heldy, but if you want to lose the back guns you can stick it on Geno Saurer.

CP-08 Pile Bunker
It's...a big pokey spear. It's best for Rev Raptor, but can also go on Iguan and (surprisingly) Bear Fighter. You can stick two on a Zoid for better balance and extra poke.

CP-09 Booster Cannon Set
Two beam cannons with boosters on the back. Mostly for Redler (goes on the wing pegs), but you can also stick one on Helcat, two on Saicurtis, and one or two on most small Zoids with a spare peg for them to stick to.

CP-10 Gojulas Cannons
Guess what these are for. Republic Supercannons and a large gun for the wrist. Can also be stuck on Gordos and Salamander, but they don't get the wrist cannon (duh).

CP-11 Maneuver Thruster Unit
big thrusters for the back of an Iron Kong. They don't do much in terms of speed, but rather help your Kong turn and move faster to better crush things.

CP-12 Attack Boosters
Booster/cannon combination things for Blade Liger. They must be flipped forward to be used as guns and then back again as boosters, and you can detach them mid-battle to better Blade Attack...just not stick them back on =p.

CP-13 Wild Weasel Unit
Lots more guns for a Gun Sniper or Godos. Not the thing Leena uses (that's a heavily modded one of doom), but just a radar dish and two sets of four smitey beam cannons on arms to either side of the Zoid.

CP-14 Viking Lance
A pokey spear lance thing and a radar dish. Usually for Hammerhead, but the crazy can mount it on a Command Wolf's shoulder.

CP-15 Assault Gatling Unit
Assault Gatling Unit...as seem on Stoller's Elephander, but can also fit on Blade Liger. Half big missile box, half beam gatling, the beam gatling can also go on Helcat, Sinker, and most small Zoids with a free peg.

CP-16 is the remote control for Death Stinger. You can't have a Death Stinger, much less a giant remote control for it. Silly.

CP-17 Schneider Unit
Guess what happens when you put this on a Liger Zero.

CP-18 Impact Cannons
A set of unfoldey impact cannons. Usually for Spinosapper where you can stick it on a bit like fins, but also for Raynos.

CP-19 Bind Container
It's a container. Zabat carries it. It has equipment in. Really, who is gonna use this in a fight?

CP 20 Jäger Unit
Guess.

CP-21 Panzer Unit
I'm out of jokes.

CP-22 Dual Sniper Rifle
For König Wolf only, a two-barreled rifle on its back. Continuity can't agree what it shoots - bullets? Beams of great hurty? Whichever, it's quite accurate and packs a good punch, but has a slow firing rate.

CP-23 5-Shot Missile Pod
5 shots a pod, two pods on each shoulder - again, just for König Wolf.

CP-24 Flexible Boosters
Boosters with your choice of a beam cannon or missiles on front. Mostly for Snipe Master, but will also fit on almost any small to medium Zoid with free peg(s) with work.

CP-25 Active Shield Unit
Physical shields, not the E-Shield kind. These are sort of...protective plates that can fold to appropriate angles, stuck on arms so they can cover more of the Zoid. Like 24, can stick on most small Zoids.

CP-26 All Direction Missile Unit
Guess what this adds. Missiles, both one big launcher with a group and a few little ones with a couple each. Like the previous two, fits on most small Zoids.

CP-27 Sturm Unit
Berserk Fuhrer/Fury only, you get a Sturm Führer/Fury as a result, which means huge boosters, insane maneuverability, and mini X-Breakers (the blades charge, but do not form e-shields).

Name: Kaelin
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Description: 5'8", shoulder length auburn hair, bluegreen eyes.

Zoid: GenoSaurer
Custom Part: CP-07 with a shortened barrel, Bio Crusher x2 (One on each arm. Hidocker did it, but with one: 'Docker's Geno.), 'Breaker headpiece.
Other: It has Museum-style white armor, gray eyepieces, and blue underframe. No CPC.

Name: Kae
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Description: She's tall (5'8") and thin. Blueish teal hair, yellow-orange eyes and fair skin. Her clothes colors match that of her zoid. White, teal, black and deep olive.
Appearance -> Here (This is just a quick sketch and her facial expression doesn't quite match what I had in mind. Reminds me too much of Leena... *Shudders*)
Other: She looks like if she could break easily but she's actually quite sturdy and can pack quite a punch when she's mad. Instead of yelling and insulting, she hits.

Zoid: König Wolf DSR (Dual Sniper Rifle)
Custom Part: CP-23 5-Shot Missile Pod
Other: Typical König Wolf weapons, adding the 5-shot missile pod and the DSR.
The caps are teal not green, the "eye" is orange and it's body carries various teal neons.
Custom paint job and neons -> Here (Add the 5-shot Missile Pod in black to this and that's pretty much how Kae's Zoid will look like.)

What? Kaelin and Kae?? .. Oh wow your right. I didn't even notice that.

Sorry Levi Betvanna didn't mean to make the name sound so close to yours...
It was a pure coincidence really.

I called my character Kae because Koe just sounds weird for a girl. Koe short of Koenig.

I would say try using something for "queen", but queen in German is Koenigin. XD (Isn't the German language just poetic? XP)

Man, Tilly... you never get old. xD

Nah, I don't mind the sounding alike. In fact, there's a girl that sits next to me in my english class named Kenita... and my name's Ken...
