anyone going to watch it? unfortunately I can't...........I wanted to go to HK this year but I go the next and its release in HK in 6/23 and later for other asian countries......this movie will be awesome though, Jay Chou and Edison Chan will be in it.... http://www.initialdthemovie.com/

Oh I was gonna watch it but my parents couldn't find any tickets to China this year sad I have on of their songs (Drifting) on my xanga... dont understand it though. He sings everything to fast lol

Seen it... It's... not bad. Directors trying to make it seem new and cool by sorta freezing scenes for a few seconds, but I thgouht that kinda slowed down the feel of the movie, which is bad cos I think making it seem fast would be better to show the racing feel~
Jay had shitty cantonese, and his acting was... 4/10, but ok for a first timer, so he's forgiven. Very good acting by Anthony Wong, as usual. 老演员就是不同.
Very, very good music, currently trying to get the sound track.

Jay Chou. I <3 him, yet he isn't a good actor. I have to say that.
But I like the music though. <33

i agree his cantonese is crap and i didnt really like the ending either. But i like the car racing!!!!

I saw it, however I have issues with the "realism" of the movie. Even though it was based on the anime, recall the scene when the AE86 breaks down mid-race... if you notice carefully, his speedometer drops to zero instantly -- it should be his tachymeter. 3nodding xd

I find it weird that the Japan-based movie has so many Chinese actors and dialogue in Chinese. I guess the anime was more popular among the Chinese communities...? By the way, I haven't seen it yet.

I really liked it. But the movie was pretty plotless however as a fan of Edison, I thought he looked mega hot in the movie. Jay was more of the cute character. It was a pretty good movie.
