Ok, those who know me personally know that I ain't fond of these types of posts, but I'm rather curious in knowing what version of Vandread did you happen to see? The English dubbed version on TV, fansubs, straight from the DVDs (either language) or even raw. Personally, after viewing both languages on DVD, I will go with the English version. The cast that was chosen did an awesome job with their respective characters and kept it very close to the original IMO.

Both of the Subbed and Dubbed versions were very good. But due to my fondness for the Japanese Language, I'd have to go with Subtitled Versions. (MEGUMI!!!!!)
Don't get me wrong, but the Vandread's english cast is awesome. The only thing I always wish they had though, is different characters talking all at once like in Martian Successor Nadesico.

I agree both versions are very good. But I too must admit I preffer the english dub of it.
And did anyone else notice that the english voice of Hibiki is the guy who voiced Rick Hunter in Robotech.

That's because it WAS the guy who voiced Rick Hunter in Robotech; Tony Oliver. xd I had him sign my holo Hibiki Promo Vandread Trading Card at AX this year. He also is the voice for Lupin in Geneon's Lupin Dubs.

I've only seen the dubbed version of it, but I prefer dubbed versions anyway because it doesn't take my attention away from all the action by reading the subtitles.

I like the Dubbed version, I felt like they had more emotion in their voice. But I just loved their voices.
