Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaia_onlineWikipedia As of August 2006 there are 5 games on Gaia: Fishing, Slots, BlackJack, Towns, and Word Bump. In each game users can win different items or currency. For example, in Gaia Fishing users catch fish and trash, which can be traded for hats. The Gaia Casino was removed due to a US law prohibiting interstate online gambling[5], although the only 'items' gambled were completely virtual.What the hell?! I have so many tickets and tokens just sitting here! What are we supposed to do with them now? And why didn't Gaia tell us this?! Did you guys know about this already, or am I late? What's going to happen to all the tickets and tokens we spent our gold on? Is Gaia going to find something new to replace slots? Btw, I get to test new videogames today! SPLEE!EDIT: I just found this in Lanzer's work journal: Lanzer A small update to the current situation: As of October 3rd, there had been a new law stating that credit card companies can no longer support casino games, and Paypal happens to be a credit card payment gateway also... We had got a chance to talk to Paypal regarding this issue, and they are very careful about not breaking the law, and so are we. surprised Ok, technically, he's told us the news. But is this supposed to mean?? Are you taking the Casino down for good, Lanzer? Are you solving the problem with Paypal so you can get it back up? Are you just trying to avoid saying, "We've deleted the casino?" Btw, the videogame I tested for the DS was awesome! It's called Spectrobes. It's a must for Pokemon and RPG fans.NEW EDIT: YES! The Casino is back! P&J has returned! All is well once more! Except for the fact there's this big glowing thingy in Towns.

@ Error: Because of my connections in the Rennaissance Fair, I was selected by a friend of mine. biggrin I got to test this new game coming out on the DS called Spectrobes. Sadly, it seems it would only appeal too Pokemon players.
@ Crackerbox: I'm angry about that as well. I have 1.2k in tokens and 2.5k in tickets!!
@ Rex: I had the same thought, but Gaia might put the items in various stores for gold in the future...
Something occured to me last night, everyone. Wikipedia can be edited! Someone might have gone in and edited the page just to start a rumor. Maybe slots won't be gone for good! However...A few of my friends had been telling me their tickets and tokens went missing a couple days before I read that article.

I reckon the Casino games are gone for good, but there'll be other ways to earn tickets in the future. It's unlikely Gaia would just retire the Casino items for good (and cause ridiculous inflation). Prize and Joy is still open, for a start. There's probably someone desperately working on new games at Gaia offices.

There's probably someone desperately working on new games at Gaia offices. That was what my friends were thinking. I don't think Gaia would do that to all the poor questers. Thinking they only have to save up 10000 tickets to get a shirt, then find they have to save up 100k in gold. I hope the come out with an arcade-like game (You know, the ones where you have to throw the ball it the whole, hit the bugs with your ball, or beat levels of a certain game.) that gives you tickets depending on your score. It could be the Gambino Arcade!

Anyway, turns out it's back now. I'm glad. Since casino items are the win.
Almost a pity, since I quite liked the idea of a Gaia Arcade.

@ Spatter: Casino items really are awesome. I wish I could score enough to get that black crown...
True Rex, they may decide to make on of the extra buildings in Gambino the Arcade! Though, it would take a long time. ><;;
