He giggled happily as he licked the lifeless body of a now rather flat snake away from him. The little things thought a little rattling and some hissing would make him go away. Not likly.
"Pretty and shinny and now a little flat." He pranced slightly as he spoke in a sing-song voice. Perhaps there would be something else entertaining out here rather than just these little animals. Perhaps one that screamed better.
Maybe one of thoes furry rats he'd seen walking around. Weasels or something. "Well they arent that good at weaselign out of things are they" He giggled again as he cracked a rather bad joke.
"Weasling out .... priceless!"

K'jatu wanderedaimlessly, aswas usual fashion for the mare, for she had very very few, infact, noone, reaqlly, she would have considered a friend to keepherotherwise occupied. The marewas perhaps, moreantisocial than most, and she slogged through the grass with her head down, not really paying much attention, for thelandwas thesame as it was when she got there.
Only the slight acrid smell ofblood and the sound of cackling broughtherfrom her reverie, and swhe found herselfwithing the close vicinityofa very very odd sounding, if not gleeful horse. She watched himwith mild confusion, What's he sohappy about? She thought with amildtone of sarcasm present, even in her inner monologue.

He danced around the body of the lifeless snake for a few mimuets before he became aware of the presence of another. A slight change in the wind brought her scent to him and his head snapped around.
"Ooohh look what the cat dragged in." He pranced toward the female. "Someone ring you out the wrong way after a wash? It seem's your stripes got all tangled up."
Oh yes, a man of many words, most of which would probably be better left behind bright red lips

The mare sneered slightly, and eyed with with quiet thoughts and speculation until she finally answered shortly,"No." For as verbose as the malemight be, she wasequally tight lipped on most occasions.
Perhaps she just didn't have a very goodsense of humor. She regarded him unabashedly, her silence almost loud. She had a way about her, content in wordlessness where as silence was usually something most people tried tofill. The mare had always found that it was people who were uncomfortable in their own thoughts who were the very noisiest of people.
She blinked, as expectantly as anyone could.

"Cat got your tongue?" He giggled as he danced in place for a moment. Ahh the jokes he could tell, the things he could think, the horor he could inflict.
"Perhaps you are more inclined to slapstick comedy then? The silence more your bag?" He walked around her as he inspected her. With her quiet he'd say she had no friends which ment no one would notice if anything happened to her.
No one noticing wasnt what he was here for.

She swished her tail idly, pale eyes following him as he walked around her. To some extent being watched seemednormal, for other horses hadtaken the time to look at her before, but none quite so blatantly or thouroughly. She watched himwith forced indifference and finally asked, "Satisfied?"
She could play the silence game all day long. In fact, it was oneof her favorites. He certainly seemed the talkative sort, so it might be interesting. if her relative silence didn't at least make him talk more, she would have been surprised.
The wonderful thing about people, she thought, is that they are predictable, even if they don't realise it. After all, it's hard to chase something that won't run.

"Satisfied? Hardly." He stopped infront of her again, hoof comming down on some poor beetle that had crossed his path. He giggled slightly as he heard the bug crunch under his him.
"Maybe if you used that tongue of yours for more than a word here or there i might be having a little more fun." Not talking wasnt any fun, unless he was doing other things but he couldnt just do thoes things with her.
"Its no fun if you dont talk. Unless you're just a half wit and that's all you can come up with"

Acerbic nature reared its ugly head and she nearly spat at him, "Feeling superior due to your verbosity? It's better to keep your mouth shut and have everyone think you're a fool than to open your mouth and prove it."
She snorted with indignance and rolled her eyes, "You must be terribly uncomfortable with your own thoughts to need to talk so much youknow. So, just how insecure are you?" She asked, voice sugary sweet, but practically dripping venom, lips curled into an unpleasant lemon twist smile.

"Fool? Fool?" He laughed eerily.. "I am the Kings fool my dear. Do you not see the smile painted across my face? I was born a fool!" His laugh continued as he tossed his head.
"Uncomfortable with the things that give me the most joy in life, i think not." Insecure? Him? Never. "The thoughts in my mind are so wonderful that they should be shared with everyone in the world."
Nevermind that most people didnt agree with his thoughts or think they were as funny as he thought they were. It mattered not. After all he was not here for their enjoyment he was here for his own

The mare smiled benignly, "Ah, so you're self important too. How pleasant." She snorted witha derisive chuckle and shook out her mane, malice and mirth co mingling oddly. He was certainly a loud mouth, but his foolishness was a source or ponderance and vague amusement on her part. She was not one who was prone to his joviality, but was certainly self important, if not in other ways. She didn't need the validation of others, and did not seek it, but it was an interesting thought, to have ponderances so perfect that they would be declared universally. She decided this notion was decidedly the product of a spoiled brain. No one could convince everyone of one thing.
She smiled cheerily and asked, "So did your mother kick you in the head when you were a foal?"

"My mother you say?" He giggled for a moment. "You know .... after i led that rather mangy coyote to where she was sleeping she really didnt have the legs to kick anyone." His grin grew wider even if that didnt seem possible.
"She was rather pretty with that red splashed all over her hide."

She sneered, she recognized the game for what it was, the banter may or may not have been true, but K'jatu doubted the odd stallion none the less and smirked, replying flippantly, "Ah, I bet she was."
If she seemed uncaring, it may have just been that her cynnicism was over riding her suspension of disbeleif. The horse could have been telling the truth, but if she took everything he said as a falsehood, it made much more sense to her. The mindset, she thought, was a juvenile one. He's lying, to either scare or impress something. She regarded him quietly once more. Just to see if he would say or do anything more. She weilded silence like a crop, to spur words or action. It was perhaps a dangerous hobby, but she a lacked terrible fear of strangers and strangeness, and while what he said was unsettling, She wasn't about to go wilting like some blithering, withering, whimpering, helpless /girl/. That just wasnt her style.

He pouted slightly. "Now why would i be getting the impression that you dont believe me." His wide grin returned and he danced around her for a momet.
"Doubt my words so you?"

The mare stubbornly returned his grin,"Ifind it hard to beleive. Most people would not talk that way for fearof retribution, now either youare lying and have no need to fear, or youarenot lying, and you'll get you're in theend, and just mentioning meansyoueither have noshame, oryou are very stupid." She gave another sugary sweet smiles, cocking her head to the side and continued, "Not that I'm calling you stupid, I'm just calling you a liar."
She watched him dance around her, he seemed awefully fixated on going round in circles.

He mock swooned slightly. "Oh how does my heart ache for i am being called a lier."
He walked back around her and grinned. "I would never lie. There is no pointing in hiding the truth. My mother is dead, feasted upon by a hungry starving coyote. I watched as the thing tore her open and wallowed in its feast." He giggled again as he thought about things.
