Apparently, she has not responded to PMs or IMs. And, according to many members of the guild, she needs to be contacted before we do anything. I have her cell phone number. As many of you are probably aware, Zae is a college student, works two or more jobs, and her income supports her family. Her dad has cancer. She was in a car crash fairly recently. All in all, Zae doesn't get much sleep. So, I have made the decision to call her at some point during this coming weekend. In the afternoon, so as to avoid waking her up and disturbing what little sleep she IS getting. But, Sniper Game, I need your opinions. Would it be okay for me to call her? Or would that be invading her personal life? SHOULD I CALL? Any suggestions or possible things to say to her are welcome and will be considered. Merumiharu { }
Whatever you end up doing MAKE SURE YOU TELL HER THAT REAL LIFE COMES FIRST LAWLZ. MOST IMPORTANT. I'm actually kind of nervous. I don't want to like....INTRUDE. D:

If she is willing to relinqush control of game 9, I could lend a guild and we could continue game 9 or start game 10 in the temp. guild, with a new temp. GM. At least until Zae can come back.

To tell you the truth, I say no.
Zae is in a terrible time. Calling her up and having her make a decision like that could add more stress for her. Just like Meru said. REAL LIFE COMES FIRST!
If people care more about the game than Zae then no, don't call her. People need to stay calm. The game EVENTUALLY WILL COME BACK.
 Part of the GCDSG And will always be! So...eat that GCD!

I agree with Gthb, though I would like to add my two cents.
If she can get on for 5min. and make someone she knows/trusts a Vice-Captain, then we as a guild can take what will happen next in our own hands, be it voting to end the current round, voting to choose a new GM, et cetera. However, if she feels that she cannot do that for whatever reason, then we should accept that and basically continue to do what we've been doing.

After all, we're still the COMMUNITY. We're friends. At this point, that's become more important than the game.

I think calling her's a good idea. If you explain the situation, I'm pretty sure she'll understand.

QFE. :3 The last thing Zae needs is a rush of stress because a bunch of people are demanding what she can't give. I do think she should be contacted, but...her life DOES come first.

I don't think it would be a good idea to call her ABOUT the game. I was thinking more so as checking in, because I'm certainly worried about her.
Don't bring up the game if you call her. If she brings it up, then feel free, otherwise it will seem as if all we care about is the game. gonk heart

Be sensitive to her situation. Calling her up simply to ask about the sniper game would just put some more unneeded pressure on her; being tactful would be a very good thing in this situation.
Druki - QFE means quoted for emphasis. I didn't know what it meant either until I had asked someone. xd

If she seems really stressed out it would just be better to not even bring up the game unless she mentions it. What's going on in her life is 100x's more important than the game.
