Wow! My school has had a marching band for six years or so, and this is the first time we got all As at competition/festival. As for everything! And of course it totaled to a one. ^_^ We're all really ecstatic! If any of you were at MSBOA in Vassar, we were the Cardinal.
Our band director is so crazy. So how are you all doing with competition/festivals and the like?

3 first places, two second places and we have recevied numerous caption awards all in the largest divison. next week we're at boa in st. louis!

A couple weeks ago we were at a "marching classic" and we got a score of 57...and the lowest score in the finalist bands was a 58... scream
State contest on Tuesday! w00t!

we have our first competition on saturday...if i screw up everybody else will get off and all go to hell...no mistakes for the drum major gonk !!!! i am soooooooo nervouse...i dont even have a salute yet!!!!!

We went to a field show competition yesterday, but because our field show isn't complete yet, we did not compete. We only played for comments. We don't have a drill for our third song in our show. We did well, but I know we've done better.Our only other competition was a parade; we did horrible in that one. gonk
Now after seeing the other bands perform, I feel that we need to pratice so much more....

We had our third comp just this saturday. We got ninth overall in prelims and 13th in finals. We're all still scratching our heads over that one.
But, we have made finals in every comp so far.
Our last one is the saturday after next for the NWMBC Championships.

My band went to Festival yesterday. We did poorly. We got a good (3) because we were tired from the three hour practice we had that morning. Our competition is this Saturday. I know we'll do better then.

My band had a competition on Saturday at Hershey stadium. Now we are the group 4 open USSBA Pennsylvania champions! We were so excited. We got a 91.35
Championships in 2 weeks! Wish us luck

We got 1st at our first comp., and at BOA we made finals for the irst time in 17 years! We are not exactly a BOA band, since we focus on UIL stuff. Area is Saturday!
