TV Asahi released another list of the top 100 anime in Japan and Sailormoon made #30! Also, on the top 100 list picked by Japanese celebrities, BSSM made #19!!! It just goes to show that it definitely still has a huge impact on the world even after more than a decade! What do you guys think about this?
Personally, I think it's awesome to see that even in Japan this is still a huge show! I can't wait to see what happens with it next year!

Maybe if the rating holds or even rises, they'll reconsider releasing it again. That's a BIG if, so don't hold breath (or start those annoying petitions that Toei never really reads crying ). It's a nice hope to hold though.

Jazzy_Kaede i really want to see it on tv again though so do i but i dont think it will happen. USA totally took off Sailor moon off the tv production and manga sale in america. its sad. Well actually its tokyo pop that did but yeah. sigh. what a shame.

Actually, the rights expired. Tokyopop and North American television can't release it anymore.

its quite sad it is all over. sailor moon was hte first anime that brought me in the anime circle

I was referring to the refusal to give out the rights again.

it was said that it wouldnt be showing again but I just heard from a friend that the personw ho made sailor moon is actully starting on a new sailor moon manga and hopefully into a show. well thats what I heard anyway
