Have you ever been mistaken for being Korean, Japanese or any other asian nationality?
It happens to me a lot and it really bothers me.
Also how do you deal with this?

I don't think people really mistake my ethnicity that often, but then again I don't ask what they thought I was. It's quite irrelevant in my opinion.
@Sin: What mix are ye?

ppl never ask me they just label me as asian, but when some people know that i'm chinese, i sometimes say i'm cantonese and they would always say, "wait your cantonese, i thought you're chinese." lol. now that always happens to me.

Most people say that I'm Chinese or Japanese >_______>;;
Just because those 2 are the only asian/oriental nationalities they know rolleyes
But I'm actually Viet.
Someone tried guessing what nationality I am once... And it ended up me telling them that I was Viet... And she had this blank face after that I told them that o______o
And whenever people tell me to talk to them in Chinese, I'm always like,
"What? Oh, there's no such thing as a chinese language ^___________^"
- Blank faces around me -
xd
But hey, the chinese language is a group of languages that originates from China, right? ;3 They didn't say what chinese language that I had to speak to them... (canton, mando, fookien etc.)

 Toki hasn`t heard about Sin being mixed?
Sin`s:
Chinese. (Canto) Viet. Thai. Laosian. French. Australian.
Don`t ask how.
I just am.
Too tedious to explain.

I don't know why, but some a*****e thought I was Native or Aboriginal person.
I call him an a*****e because first he was like "Have you ever been to a pow wow?" and so on and so forth. When he figured out I was Chinese, he went on to ask "do you use chop sticks? Do you know kung fu?" a very stupid man.

I've never been mistaken for anything else other than a Chinese. Both my parents' families are pure blood Chinese.
