the other day i was watching a show called exploring the unknow and they were talking about something called rods which are little rod shaped creature type things that people have seen in pictures some say they are aliens some say they are just bugs what is you opinion

I heard of those. I never really thought much about them.
To me they alway looked sort of like someone had thrown a glowstick or something into the picture to get the effect. But then again I don't believe a lot of thing that people say are ghosts or aliens caught on film.

Supposedly, rods are a type of insect life that arrived from an offworld destination some 60 years ago. They're said to be omnivores, eating mostly refuse, but occasionally preying on small animals. No human has even been documented as having been attacked by anything resembling a Rod.
Personally, I think they're a load of bunk.

Oh, cool, thanks for the link! I have seen those before in UFO documentaries and the like, I didn't realize the theory on them had changed to an earthbound life form. Cool ^^

Rosewell RodsThats a website I found on the matter. Honestly, I dont even think the creatures exsist. I think this is where paranormal reaserch takes a nose dive, and where we seem like Dib's. (the crazy kid from Invader Zim! ^^). YOU CANT EVEN TELL WHAT THE HELL THEY ARE! I mean honestly!  First, you cant even tell what that is. You cant see anything but the friggin' plane. Honestly, I think it's just a myth and that no such creatures exisit, but ya know. This is my opionon, and we are all intittled to our own... I just wanted to get my point across... ^^

personaly i think tis some highly evolvd bug -shrug- i mean tehre are thousends maybe millions of undiscoverd bug species

yeah, now that I'm thinking about it...
it could be true, i mean there are many things we can see,
but they exsist...
like mircowaves..we cant see them..but they exsist!
but i dunno..i'm still alittle skeptical...
but i'm now willing to enter the theory...
check it out alittle bit more i guess..

Miss Murder Puget yeah, now that I'm thinking about it... it could be true, i mean there are many things we can see, but they exsist... like mircowaves..we cant see them..but they exsist! but i dunno..i'm still alittle skeptical... but i'm now willing to enter the theory... check it out alittle bit more i guess.. You also have to take into consideration all the creatures we still have yet to find. Heck, giant squid weren't believed to be real until the early 90s.

I personaly beleave that rods could exsist and that perhaps they are some sort of insect and they at one time were mistake for faries and when humans were out looking for them we caused there nummber to dwindel till the are now endangered species they also could have been mistaken for dragons as we all know after years of tales being handed down storys get changed but as for the pic with the plane look closley at the plane that is not a real plane so any thing in said picture is not certifiable

Personally I think rods are some type of insect that on one has discovered yet, or maybe it just a bug that is moving too fast for the camera

Woah...Neat things, these rods are! I wanna say that they're unidentified bug species; that way we could spit in the faces of all the physicists who say giant insects can't exist. 3 meters is pretty big for a bug. xd
