((...-so braindead- e.e))

"C'mon, Emrys!" Daimyn's shouts could probably be heard over the entire island of Citrus, he thought grumpily, as he gazed up at the tree which held the tiny white bird Pokemon that was Emrys. "Come back down here!"

The Pidgey gave a squawk, which the new trainer took to mean an angry "No." Why, the little.

"I could just call you back to your PokeBall, you know," Daimyn threatened, waving said ball around wildly, but when the Pidgey turned his back on him -- his tail, actually -- Daimyn sighed and thought better of recalling his newly-aquired bird Pokemon. "Fine. Just -- sit out here then."

Daimyn stomped back into his house, slamming the door behind him.

That was perfectly fine with Emrys. He chirruped a retort and gazed down at the ground, where Aiden the Ponyta grazed calmly. How could this once-free Pokemon surrender to being caught? He was weak, that was why.

A black and green Pidgey soon entered the area, she was enjoying the thermals and just having a ball in the sky. Though she could have been going much faster she seemed to always double back a ways and then continue on ahead. This was because a couple paces back walked a trainer, Cauchy's trainer.

Poet, for that was the name she prefered of all the names she'd been called in life, glanced up once more and shaded her eyes from the sun. She was glad Cauchy wasn't just flitting off where she couldn't see her, but it still made her nervous. Still, this was what made trust. Being able to let go... She only hoped she really could trust the bird. They'd not been together long and Poet had already developed a deep affection for the tiny bird.

Poet came to another of the many clearings among these trees and spotted a lad with a Ponyta, presumably his as Poet hadn't seen any wild Ponyta in these parts. Instantly her heart filled with an unfullfilled want. A want she instantly felt bad about, she had Cauchy and should be satisfied with that rather than covet another's pokemon. Still... she couldn't resist the lure of having her own Ponyta. Only time would tell if her wish would come true.

She called out to him as it was only polite to do so. One shouldn't sit in the shadows spying on another without making their presence known. "Hello!" she called, not daring to come much closer as she'd already experienced pokemon that were rather protective of their Trainers.

((Sorry for the delay! @.@))

Daimyn had almost stomped away and left the Pidgey in the tree when he heard a call. "Hello!"

He turned, surprised, as there hadn't been anyone there before, that he'd noticed anyway. "Hey," he greeted, slightly embarassed. Had she seen him ranting and raving to his Pokemon? Emrys still sat silently in the tree above them, with his back turned to his trainer.

Aiden nickered and paused in his grazing to walk over and nudge Damyn, demanding a scratch behind his ears, and Daimyn obliged him.

"What's up?"

Cauchy came down now that Poet seemed to have stopped their walk. She noticed the other Pidgey after a while and took a branch on a separate, but close tree. She made a quick Pidgey-trill noise to get his attention mostly for the purpose of getting names since that always seemed Poet's first objective.

Poet glanced up to the tree but didn't say anything about teh white Pidgey. Perhaps he was trying to catch it? Or maybe he was more stubborn then Cauchy and refused to come down.

"Not much really, just passing on through, getting a feel for Citrus..." she trailed off feeling a tad akward. She rarely initiated conversations with people and wondered if she should have just gone around rather than draw attention to herself. She tried to ease her own nerves with a quick introduction.

"I'm Poet by the way," she said hurriedly. "And that's Cauchy in the tree." The Pidgey made a quick sort of bow before looking back at the white Pidgey.

Emrys glanced at the other Pidgey with mild interest, trilling back a greeting. Of all the trainers I had to get caught by... He left the sentance hanging and shot a glare at Daimyn, insinuating that the trainer was a nimrod.

"Daimyn," the trainer introduced himself, and noted how Poet had referred to Citrus Island. "You're new here, then?"

((I am sorry for taking so long, I'd understand if you decided not to RP with me anymore.))

She nodded, her eyes straying to his Ponyta. "Yes, sailed in from Hoenn a little over a week ago." She glanced toward the trees, realizing that Cauchy's call had been answered. At least the white Pidgey was friendly enough. "How about you, been here long?" She assumed he had been here longer, or was just increadably lucky to have a Ponyta.

Cauchy turned her head aside a bit, twittering at Poet and the boy in mild amusement. She may not be the best out there but she's a great friend, Cauchy said of her Trainer.

A slight ruffle was heard in a bush nearby, and a small white head popped out. It was an albino sandshrew, with gleaming red eyes, and she sniffed the ground a little, then making her way out of the greenery and slowly towards the house, seemingly on a trail. Miras stopped at the door, seeing that Daimyn had left it open, not having closed it before facing his guest. The sandshrew- rather big for it's age- crawled into the house, wanting to find some food.

Another figure walked out of the woods, this time with human shape. She was a strange lady wearing a round white cloak that hid her from ankle to throat. Seeing the house, she sighs, and asks with an tired voice: "Did anyone see a sandshrew around here?" Then noticing the pidgey in the tree. She smiled. "So I'm not the only person with a stubborn one, hm?"
