Got questions about the Fa'e metaplot, history, various facts, if certain mythbases/powers/pasts are taken, etc? Ask them here and get answers! First off, thanks for accepting me, sosi.
ok. onto the question. It's been awhile since I've been active and I realize that Kahjri was great 2 years ago when I created her, but now that it's been this long she's not really a character with a story I can keep up for very long.
I find it really fun to create these characters and try to fit them into a mythological plot base and everything, so I was wondering if it would seem weird if I sorta just filed kahjri away and went in another direction.
I think I could find something to create that I'm really passionate about and can keep going for longer than the short time I've put into Jri. She just feels like a skeleton with no flesh to me, and I don't think I can add any to her.
You tell me.

that's good to know. I was feeling a little flaky about wanting to change my quest. I have no intention about questing for more than one fa'e however. (not only is that rude, but that'd be IMPOSSIBLE to keep up. XD)

Is there anything in this myth that could cause problems / require me to talk with a guardian about conflicting NPCs & etc? :B

My other question is whether or not that's even a valid deity/myth story. Most of my research has left me with very small stories with limited details. Is it okay if I take these shorter stories (all about 100 words max) and elaborated on them by myself? Or would that be considered too close to an original myth to count? :B

Mythbase question! I'm doing my Fa'e quest around Lobo Wolf Girl, an urban legend from the 19th century. I'm a little worried that the subject matter isn't legend-y enough, because it's fairly recent and not all that magical, plus it's not a very well known urban legend. Is it okay? Also, I kind of lumped a bunch of different raised-by-animals cases together and picked out different traits for the Fa'e's personality. Is it okay to pick and choose like that when there are a lot of myths (and real people in my case) that are very similar or closely related? The Wolf Girl herself isn't defined very specifically, is all.

Picking and choosing from similar myths is fine, Mega. I can't answer about the validity of the urban myth - urban myths themselves are allowable, I do believe, but the magic issue would best be left to Sosi and Anya.
Astra, the only problem with your myth is that part where he became the living embodiment of Chaos. Chaos is the major NPC for the Metaplot. As long as you removed that from your myth, only making him a chaotic fa'e rather than Chaos, it should be fine.

Hmm, I don't recall Puchi using Fenrir anywhere in her RPs for Aadil's growth quests, so that should be fine.
And although not a rule, I'd suggest making sure your fa'e's appearence isn't too close to Silver, just so you don't lower your chances by that alone ^_~

3nodding totally understood. would it be possible to make him /an/ embodiment for strafe/discord but very...minor? *doesn't want him to be all that powerful at all D:*

As long as he's not Chaos or related to Chaos, it shouldn't be a problem.
Oh, and Tyr, I forgot to mention... You'll have to invent a reason for Fenrir being dead. Seeing as how Fenrir was meant to be imprisoned until Ragnarok, there's no myth basis for him having died to be reborn as a Fa'e.

It shall be something I keep in mind when creating him. Thanks! Ah, yes that is true. ^_^ Actually that's quite easy to fix...and adds a nice twist to things. Question about guardians then: Are there any restrictions on them?

We've never bothered to put restrictions on guardians. Some people don't plan on keeping the guardians around once their fa'e hit a certain age, other people RP the guardian just as often as they do the fa'e.
I suppose of there was going to be any restriction, it would be that your guardians shouldn't be a god or myth-like figure that would prevent a fa'e of said myth *shrugs* But we've never had that come up before.

This is a question I asked in the Main Thread...Yiiei (( Just curious but could I use Gilgamesh is my concept base? Curious because though he is listed with myths, he isn't discounted as a historical character either. And I'm not sure if historical characters are allowed... even far off ones.
Edit. With the exception of Ogre's quest for Judas. )) Question now irrelevant but thanks.
