Just had my first competiton ever last night we won by so much we got a 76.2 and the 1st runner up was 7 points behind us YEA! so how everyone else doing?

pretty good, i suppose. our season is just starting, so we've only played 2 football games so far, and we have our first competition this saturday! xd

we played our first field show saturday.
the football team sucked, but we rocked lol. i had alot of fun telling that to a band geek alummni who played fb (me no like fb, sry, soccer's kewler blaugh )
we're adding the last song in for our marching festival, newsday.
we don't compete, but i swear our band director acts like it sometimes, lol

well we've played at 2 football games, and gone to a preview. last week we were supposed to have a competition in louisville, but it was rained out. our next competition is in blue springs next saturday ^^
we're not doing too good right now cause they totally changeed like all the sets cause we moved the pit to the back of the field and we have about half the clsure on the field, but we're still not doing too good on it sweatdrop we're getting better though ^_^

it was ok until report cards came out... we had to cancel our competition(s). i'm not sure how many we are going to do other than our main one sad . very bad for a 60 peice band, that has only 25 winds... well 30, but some havnt attended any performances. the rest is drumline and winterguard, which took hefty losses as well. i guess it's ok if everyone can get back up again. if they don't, we'll have to change the whole drill to cover the holes and broken shapes. that messed us up last year right before competition.

Ours is going great! We prefore well at the football games and we've won both of our cavalcades so far! Our first score was 77.9 and out latest one was 85.90. Not the best scores in the world, but we're proud of them biggrin

Our first competition this season, we were 5 points ahead of 2nd place. We had an 81.4, or something.
It was a really crappy run, too. Everybody was making a bunch of mistakes, and I slipped and almost fell once.

our seasons doing great we had our first show and we took vis sweepstakes outstanding guard, outstanding brass, second overall, and first in our division with an 88.5, plus we are only 64 members, and we were 1.2 points behind foothill which have 210!

Our first competition sucked- we got 3rd place by a one-point difference between the top three, since our trumpets got all out of step and didn't watch the drum major.
Our second competition rocked, though. It rained, so we had to stand in the gym and play while the guard worked around us, but we got grand champs with a score of 93.

We won our first competition Saturday ^_^ I think our scoring system is waay different from yourses. Its a 400-point scale. We won by about 47 points. ^^ We host BOA this weekend w00t!

nice wheres ur BOA. i know we were gonna go to one this weekend but were going to a different comp its a super regional, we had our second comp sat. we got a 83.15 came in 3rd first place was a 84.2 or maybe .4 i forget but ours is base don a 100 point scale like DCI!

Hm.. we got 1st in drum major, 2nd in brass, 3rd in auxiliary, and 3rd overall^^ A lot better for our first competition than we did last year.

Our band is doing ok. So far we've had a preview and a big comp. But, we broke a curse on the band (we had some...problems...making finals), and made finals at our first big comp of the season. The preview was a no cut show, so we made it anyway. Our best score so far has been a 62.4 i belive. We still have alot we can improve on.

^^ This past Saturday, we took Marching,Showmanship,Music and Grand Sweepstakes. Drum Major got First.Percussion got First. Auxilary got First.
No Joke.
Anyone else here went to the Cupertino Band Festival in CA?
