PRP and all that jazz. You know the drill.
The meadow or the beach... The meadowor the beach...K'jatu couldn't makeup her mind, she was too busy being indesisive. The meadow was soft andsmelled good, but things always got tangled in her mane and tail... The beach had the fun water and sand, but it was windy and got cold more quickly. These were hard decisions when considering where she wanted to run, because there were few joys as great to her.
She trotted in little circles for a minute before making up hermind and trotting twards the beach. It was in truth her favorite place, there we few aspects sosublime as the feelof sand beneath one's hooves, or the littleyeilding roosts ofsand that kicks from beneath your feet. She sighed happily and ran across teh grassy dunes twards the long flats. The tide was going out, and there was alot of beach to run on.

The dark stallion plunged from the sky his wings tucked tightly upon his back. A grin was set upon his face as he glided towards the ebbing ocean waves. With a chime from his chains and a great rush of wind the mighty stallion unfulred his wings and softly splashed into the water.
For but a moment the waves where sublime, then all at once he surface and shook his wet mane free of his pale eyes. With a whinny of excitement and a bit of nervous laughter at what he had just done. After all had he not timed everything right he could have killed himself.
Oh well... Pushing those thoughts from his mind he lazily made his way towards shore, in no real hurry with no particular place to go.

K'jatu watched the dark form plunge into the water with mildconcern. It Certainly didn't looklike a bird...and then the whinney. Oh. She blinked, she had seen the horses with wings before, but uncertainty and a rare but strong urge tosee if someoneelse was alright snuck intoher brain and she ranwitha breakneck speed over the beach and crashed into the waves, the foamwashing over her coat, andfor amoment, threatened to knock her feet from under her.
"Hey!" She called unceremoniously, "Alright?" He didn't seem hurt or in a hurry, but she was startled enough to ask anyhow, her pale eyes wide in a mix of bewilderment andconfusion.

Oh, A little sheela eh? He quirked a brow at her and smirked. "Im fine. Just wanted to go for a bit of a swim." he hadnt thought anyone had been around when he had made his dive, so her sudden apperance was a bit startling. His hooves finally touched the sand below him and he he made his way onto the sandy beach.
His dripping form made it safly from the water and the large stallion shook himself free of most of the water. His hair hung limp, plastered to the back of his neck and his tail kept sticking to the back of his legs, but all this he paid no mind.
What was he going to do now that she was here...would she leave now? He quirked a brow and looked at her, she was quite something but he really didnt know what. Clearning his throat as the awkwardness set in he flashed her a smile. "So...uh.. how are you?" he offered in an attempt, although a pittyfull one, to make converstation.

She too followed him to the sand and swished her tail and stamped her feet lightly. She didn't like being this wet with that salty water, it always made her smell weird later. But she paid her wetness little mind and watched the stallion for a moment before she spoke in reply, "Fine." It was a curt reply certainly, and it wasn't looking like she was going to expound on it any more than that. She did however manage to scrape together enough social grace to return a similar question,"You?"
She siddled to the side idly, for the muscles inher legs twitched with anticipation, now that she knew he was fine, she wanted nothingmore than to continue her run. Though it would peopbably be in bad form to just leave him here like this.

"Aright... nice meeting you then." he said softly and with a smile, and with that the stallion's silve hooves cut deeply into the sand as he began to run down the beach. It nipped at his mind that it was most likely bad form for him to leave her, but he didnt really get along with many...and this was just avoiding the enveitable fight or arugument that would cause him headache for hours after.
His mane and tail finaly beging to dry streamed after him as he ran, Hs wings where far to wet to take to the skies just yet so he ran across the coast line, his hooves splashing through the surf and sending glittering droplets of sea water like diamonds spraying from his hooves. Now this, this was the life.

Jatu was stunned for a moment,it was like her sentiments were struck upby someonelse. And she smirked before kicking herkeelsupand running after him, the sand arcing in littleroosts as her hooves clippedover it's surface.Never oneto let down a challenge, she ran across the sand and surf as fast as she could, gaining on him, and she whickered a wordless whoop of joy before she urged her legs to over take him.
Slowly at first she pulled up beside him, her headdown and ears layed back, not in anger or fear, but because the wind whistling in her earswas just too much.

Vudeux looked over in surprise as the little mare gained ground and ran beside him. As he had turned from her and started to run he hadnt thought she had followed. In a way she was far to close for comfort. His little bubble was being pressed, his ears flattened for a moment and then his moment of anger passed. Not like the little sheela knew that anyway. He offered her a smile, more a smirk as he thundered on down the beach.
He wordlessly offered her a challenge, the first one to the large outcropping of rocks would be the winner, in title and in honnor. So far, none had beat him by the wind. But it wasnt often that he challenged others to fight against the chains and restrains of ones body, to push the limits and feel your soul soar.
Somehow he had a good idea that this little mare, though little she may be, was a powerhouse in the legs. This would be quite the challenge. Ducking his head and setting his gaze, his large body powered forward, kicking up dust and translucent water as he ran.

She snorted and almost gave way to a single sylable of laughter, and hunkered down for the long haul. If was a race he wanted, it was one he would get. She paid little attention tohim, meerly the feeling of her muscles straining in her legs, the warm sensation of throbbing tissue of the pressure of blood pumping through the fibers. It waslittle details, little things that she concentrated on. There wasno pain in it for her, only the joy of movement, forrunning was what she was made, in her mind,to do. If this stallion wanted to test her, she'd stop only when she could run no more.

Vudeux paid no attention to the mare, only his own hoove beats across the sand and the pounding of his heart as he big his legs to move faster. All at once the world was upside down...
The mightly stallion had fallen into what appeared to have been a wash out of sand. His right wing hung limply to his side while he tried to stand. A shock of pain ripped through his body and with a gasp his world went dark.

The sound of hooves thundering beside her suddenly stopped... K'jatu blinked, her mindfocusing ratherimmeadiately on the lackofsound. She whipped her head around tolook at the stallion to see if he was still with her,and with dismay saw that he was sinking to the sand. Her own hoofbeats stopped and she whirled around, dashing back to him, concern evident upon her features, Something just didn't seem right.

Pale indigo eyes slowly fluttered open again, and once more that wave of agony washed over him. A groan escaped his lips as he tried to get his legs to move. Slowly and with much effort he managed to stand. His head held low and his left wing tip brushing the ground. ".....uuuuuug." He mummbled, really anware that the mare was standing next to him, or even what time of day it was.
With out thinking he tried to move his wings, this was followed by a sickening snap and the stallion lost his footing. Blood dotted the stand around his dark form, and glistened down the side of his ebony body. His left wing was broken, and the bone was sticking out of his feathered skin.

K'jatu winced as she saw it with clarity and stood warily a good ten feet away from him. Bone wasn't supposed to do that. She siddled back and forth nervously whickering with worry. I don't know what to do!She thought with worry and frowned, practically working herself into a dither. She didn't wantto touch himfor fear of hurting him, yet couldn't leave himlike this... Dilemma!

Vudeux slowly brought himself to his feet again, looking over his shoulder at the wounded wing. He snorted and shook his head, his stomach seemed to rise to his throat. He turned away.
The mare caught his attention and he offered her a small smile, although beneath his find coat of ebony he was beging to pale. As much as these words tasted foal in his mouth he knew it would be his only chance of saving his wing. "Do you...know of..ugh... any two leggers?" he asked her... for only one of those.. vial... creatures. Could bind his wing and make it whole again.

She settld and nodded, "I have been watching." She Dashed off as her feet would carry her and called back,"I will be back as soon as I can!"
Hoofbeats blurred into a rumbling rhythm that took her far from the beach, in the direstion of the village of the dark skinned two leggers. Her mind was a whirr as she whinnied loudly, trying tostir up asmuch commotion and attention as she could, running headlong, without forethought into the village propper. One of them had to help her!
She siddled back and forth nervously, crying out again "Help!PleaseHelp!" Though they could not understand her words. She whickered and hurriedly trottedover toamiddle aged woman and nudged her with hernose and whinnied pleadingly and the woman merely gave her a shockedlook, for no soquili had acted in such a manner twards her before.
Once she felt herpoint had been made, Jatu fled the village, looking over her shoulder to be sure the two legged mare followed after her. The woman indeed, followed as quickly as her short legs could carry her, but to her dismay, that wasn't fast enough. She slowed, and turned back to the woman, hunkering down and urging the woman to crawl upon her back.
After some trepidation, the woman did indeed find herself sitting on the mare's back, her fingers wrapped tightly in the horse's mane as the mare sped twards the beach, there apparently was no time to lose.
