Answers in Genesis Sadly, Steve Irwin wasn’t a creationist. He mentioned evolution and the concept of millions of years many times in his television programs. For example, he once told Larry King on CNN’s Larry King Live cable program that crocodiles had been around for 200 million years, and if you weren’t careful they would kill you. Ew. If you're generous in your counting, three of the paragraphs actually talk about him and his life. The rest might mention him while they remind you to convert everyone you know, or engage in half-assed apologetics, or promote themselves, or carefully avoid mentioning Hell (although it is constantly implied). Answers in Genesis Details of Irwin's death may cause those who do not understand why death and suffering are in the world, to question whether God cares and why a loving God would allow such a young and "good" man to die. In this article, AiG-USA president Ken Ham reminds readers of the impact of the Fall. Note the quotation marks around the word "good". That's just pathetic - you can almost see the air-quotes and sarcastic pronunciation. Answers in Genesis What does the death of Steve Irwin mean for us? It’s a reminder that we all need to repent of our sin so that we can be saved for eternity—because we all face death. As a witnessing opportunity at this time, point more of your friends/relatives to AiG’s website for answers to this important question—one that affects everyone’s eternity. I think this speaks for itself. What the <********> is wrong with these people? -- I never really watched him, but he was funny and entertaining when I did. What I have seen of his shows were all about the awesomeness of nature and how we should protect it, interspersed with him doing something crazy and cool. I did expect him to be killed by an animal of some kind, but I expected it to happen at the age of eighty-something, not in his forties. It's sad. -- UPDATE: Snopes. Apparently there's a chain letter about his conversion just before his death going around. the chain letter Yes, we now have confirmation of Steve Irwin's decision for Christ. I want to inform Creation Ministries International, that Steve Irwin became a born again Christian two and a half weeks ago at the Kings Church AOG Buderim, Queensland Australia, going forward publicly before the congregation to ask Christ to become his Lord and Saviour. Many of us will now spend eternity with him. I am sure Terri is comforted as a Christian in the fact that she will be with Jesus and also Steve again for eternity. Steve declared the day before he died that he was the happiest he had ever been in his whole life.

It is so painful to watch someone's life and work hijacked for a cause they would never have supported. I wasn't really a fan of his, but I think this is a great dishonor to the dead.

AiG is simply a collection of stupid, ******** tools.
So of course they'd go and do such a tool thing as exploiting someone's death like that.

Oh for ******** sake! Let the poor b*****d rest in peace! I am so sick of people bringing up his death to make their cause out to be the most important thing ever. What a load of s**t. Someone should see my profile page and see what some arsehole put on there. Then see what I wrote back!
