I am a hardcore NejiTen fan.
Don't think I hate Leeten because of this factor though. I hate it because I see it as a farfetched couple which will never work. Many people mistake their friendship for love.
For example, two common mistakes...
1. When Lee catches Tenten in the Chuunin Exams. A common error. Lee and Tenten are friends and teammates. Lee has a kind heart and is a very caring person who worships the springtime of youth. Adding these facts together the answer is clear 'of course he's going to go to catch his teammate from the fall when it was unfair of Temari to do so!' Really! Wouldn't you do the same?!
LeeTen fans may ask...Why didn't Neji catch her? Well the answer is simple. He didn't want to start an argument and wanted to draw as less attention to himself as possible. Although it probably pained him to see Tenten in distress as a friend/temmate/lover he had an image to uphold then. Plus Neji's astrological sign is a Cancer. Being a Cancer myself i'll explain it to you.
Cancers like to avoid conflict. They are very kindhearted folk and would prefer to stay out of trouble when possible. 3nodding
2. When Tenten Smiles At Lee. That WAS a smile of admiration but not admiration love-wise it was admiration admiring his determination-wise. At that point Lee had just gotten out of the hospital and he, Gai, and Tenten had started training together (Neji was with Hiashi training I think) and Gai and Tenten were exausted but Lee kept going even though he had just recovered from Gaara's blows. So Tenten was smiling that even after all he'd been through he wouldn't give up. This scene of Tenten smiling is often misinterpreted....
And there you have it. The main 2 reasons why there are LeeTen fans in this world. I am not saying that those people should stop liking LeeTen because they ARE entitled to their own opinions. However, I'm just stating the facts. neutral

JHONNY LIKES LEETEN AS A BROTHER SISTER RELATIONSHIP!
I mean, look at them! One could propose that Team Gai is quite based off Chinese stuff, and Lee and Tenten are the perfect example. I mean, look at Lee, HIS HAIR. And Tenten, HER HAIR! And Tenten's favorite food! And Lee's spandex! (Mind you, Bruce Lee wore yellow striped spandex.) They could be brother and sister! Tenten's last name could be Lee! WOW. But then it'd be Leecest! Which would sound really odd! And then a whole new thing would be out on the internet! And then...
Okay, just ignore every sentence that had an exclaimation mark in it, after "JHONNY LIKES LEETEN AS A BROTHER SISTER RELATIONSHIP!" But really, I have said what I have to say, even if I was rambling.
